Tampani Sector - Pre-CloneWars

The link above is to the sector Guide if anyone needs it, I found it here:

Great Free Resources

I am planning a campaign for two players (both Jedi) set during the High Republic era and I want to set it in the Tampani sector. There are many references to how the House Pelagia suffered after the Empire came in and killed all the Jedi, but that is after the era I wish to set it in. I struggle with how to set the Pelagia House pre-Empire during the time of the High Republic.

Did they have a Jedi training academy on the home world of Pelagon? the boxed set mentions they had a lot of Jedi Bloodlines in the house, but I thought that Jedi had to give up their family ties?

I understand that there are probably no documented answers to these questions but I would love to read other peoples thoughts before I set it in stone (electronically) for my own use.

Force Powers + Attribute

How overpowered would it be to add an attribute to Force skills just like other skills?

So far example:

  • Control becomes a Strength skill
  • Sense becomes a Perception skill
  • Alter becomes a Knowledge skill

For force powers that add your Force dice to damage or Lightsaber skill you would still only get the force dice, not the skill + attribute.

Some background - I'm going to be running a campaign set about 100 years prior to Phantom Menace and it will be just 2x Jedi so I'm not all that worried about game balance between Jedi and no-Jedi. I just want to make it possible to use Force powers without a lot of failures
