Built a free CX status points trip planner app - wanna be testers?
I've been planning my own CX status runs for a while and got tired of manually checking routes, comparing fares, and doing the status point (SP) math in spreadsheets. So I built a tool to do it for me.
Tell it how many SP you need, pick your cabin and fare class, and it finds the cheapest / shortest ways to get there. Prices refresh every 24 hours, SP per route, direct vs codeshare - all handled.
Not affiliated with CX. Doesn't book anything. Just plans and links you to cathaypacific.com. No sign-up, runs in your browser. Not plan to monetize either.
I've spent way too long debugging this ... 15+ bug rounds just getting SP and pricing right. Codeshare routes pretending to be direct flights, scrapers mixing in other airlines' fares, removing conflict zones destinations... CX's network is a mess to map accurately. It's solid now but I know I've missed stuff.
Would love if some of you could poke around and tell me:
- SP values matching what CX shows?
- Prices feel right for routes you know (i know its not a 100% but probably 98%)?
- Anything broken or missing?

If you spot a bug, that's literally why I'm posting.
Cheers from HKG.
