At 35 for the first time in my life a song has never touched me as much as this one. My closest friends have become holocaust deniers and disbelievers in vaccines and have stopped talking to me because I confronted them that this is bullshit. They believe in all the fringe bullshit. My closest friend who was a circa survive lover became mentally ill and is homeless and blocked my number.

All of my friends are gone no body hears me. All my friends are gone no body cares.

When this song came out almost 20’years ago when I was in high school I didn’t think it was possible to loose your friends like this. They felt like forever bonds.
