Last year was my first year back after an 8 year absence as a 12 hdcp. I started my quest as a 16.4 hdcp in February 2025.

At 65 years old I bought Srixon ZXi5 graphite irons 7-gap wedge. I then added a driver, 5W, 7W,9W, 6Hyb, 54 and 60 degree wedges.

Lots of tips from strangers who have become friends and being fortunate to play 2-3 times a week. To reach this milestone is an honor and joy as I feel blessed!

Someone posted about Arko a couple of days ago and I said my next shave would be dedicated to the same so here I am!

Always good to enjoy a brush lathered shave!

Went on a road trip for four days and forgot my brush. Had to just use the shave cream in my hands but no real lather.

Proraso and Clubman seemed like a great way to start this Monday morning! My 1976 Gillette razor and Omega brush were both good choices.

Thought I would break out the good stuff (at least for me). Had an excellent 3 pass shave with the 1976 Gillette butterfly razor. No nicks just a smooth result!

Circled back to the Gillette King C and ended up with a very pleasant close shave. Hope you all had good shaves as well!

Just out of curiosity I decided not to shave for a week to see how a DE razor would handle a thick growth.

I was totally impressed with my 1976 Gillette Super Adjustable 109 razor. This black beauty didn’t skip a beat! Nice clean shave (not exactly BBS but close).

I missed my daily shaves😎!!

Went all in with the Rockwell 6S and a Darby blade that was on shave #3. All went well with zero nicks…

The alum block and Thayers proved the razor and blade did there job. A little chunk of Arko worked well in a bowl.

So all in all it was an excellent Sunday SOTD! Wishing you all the very best shaves…

Just had a great shave on plate 5 of the Rockwell 6S razor. Only needed two passes to take down three days of growth…

For me Proraso never disappoints!
