Monstera water propagation after severe root rot
I’m really bad with plants and accidentally drowned my monstera until all of its roots were completely rotted and most leaves turned yellow. I cut every root off and put the plant in water. Now it’s growing out new leaves and roots, but the dents from the old roots are brown and smelly.
The plant is next to a west directing window.
Will the rot eventually spread to the healthy new roots or should I just leave it alone?
