Plano Prairie Garden Tour
This morning Michael McDowell opened up his garden to the community. Just wanted to share the photos I got. It’s such a cool and inspiring garden!

I'm just curious how long it took after establishing your garden before you started getting pollinators regularly.
I'm on year 2 of my garden. My plants are still a bit small. However I've got a diverse mix of milkweeds and nectar plants surrounding my house that I'm still constantly adding to.
Last year, I got a couple Monarchs in the Fall and no bees. This year it's a lot of smaller native bees and no butterflies so far.
What have your experiences been like establishing your gardens?
