There is no way the rest of India can ever compete with the North in terms of population
I understand that the delimitation outrage is not just about the increase in seats; it is due to the lack of development and high corruption in the North which results in mismanagement of the local population resulting in less growth, low education etc. for the entire country.
This post is just to point out that If the north does get it's shit together, the population that region can sustain without putting any extra efforts is not comparable to any other place in India.
If not in the world, it is the easiest area to sustain and maintain a massive population in India.
Let me know if I am wrong or missed something. The rest of India just cannot compete in terms of
- Image 2 - Ease of farming, richness of soil - Massive plains supported by silt from the Himalayas, agriticultural output unmatched
- Image 1 - Ease in transportation - Can travel 1000s of kilometers on perennial rivers on PLAINS (Delhi would be an even better capital if Pakistan and Bangladesh had not split, it is almost perfectly located to travel on rivers to both coasts of India)
- Image 3 & 4 - MULITPLE PERRENIAL water sources along with decent rainfall
- Image 2 - Massive area without too many plateaus, hills and mountains, the rivers have made the entire area better for settling, trading and spread of language

Given India as a whole stabalizes and becomes prosperous as time goes, is there any way rest of the India can compete with the North ,or, more regional autonomy is the only way forward ?
