i want to go into psychotherapy but don’t know how

i just graduated with a 2:1 BSc for Psychology and want to go into Psychotherapy but i’m not sure what the best path forward is

i know there is a UKCP accreditation and a certain amount of supervised clinical hours needed

my original plan was to take a year out and then do a masters but i’m not sure if that’s what’s best, currently i am working in a cafe and im going to start doing some online CBT volunteering with Mind

what is the typical path to get into psychotherapy once people have graduated university?

How Good is Caleb Holt?

i don’t watch any high school basketball but i watched the highlights of the McDonald’s All American game and the Nike Hoop Summit and i really liked what i saw of Holt

in the limited stuff ive seen he looked like a good 3pt shooter and pretty effective with the ball in his hands offensively and i watch a fair bit of draft content on youtube and ive heard he’s a strong defender too

i think this Arizona team could be really fun, they lost a lot of guys but i really love Mo Krivas and Ivan Kharchencov and i think he could compliment those guys really well

based on that he seems like he could be a great NBA player, especially as a 2nd or 3rd option on an elite winning team

right now i have him at one on my very early big board, which is pretty much based on nothing except vibes

what do you guys think of him? and where do you think he’ll go in the draft, could he go top 3 or number 1?

2025 NBA Redraft (Part 2)

i redrafted the lottery in my previous post, this will be picks 15-30

15. Thunder - Ryan Kalkbrenner

Pick 34

Big Board Rank 32

Kalkbrenner is a 7'1 paint protecting center that i think would fit well into the Thunder's big man rotation, especially after the WCF exposed Chet's weaknesses. While he is limited offensively, he is strong at both baskets and rebounds well. The original pick Thomas Sorber spent his rookie season out injured and so i cant really judge him, but i believe Kalkbrenner could be a valuable rotational piece for the Thunder as a backup

16. Trailblazers - Will Riley

Pick 21

Big Board Rank 30

i was skeptical of Will Riley coming into the draft, and i still have reservations about his game as a kind of inefficient offensive player that likes the ball in his hands, he has shown enough in his rookie year for Portland to take a swing on him as a bench option especially as they are set at PG and C.

17. Timberwolves - Kasparas Jakucionis

Pick 20

Big Board Rank 16

with Mike Conley aging out and Rob Dillingham not working out, the TWolves did need PG minutes and while he didnt have the most productive rookie season i still think Kasparas is a reasonible swing in this range. Hes a big guard at 6'5 and a pretty good 3pt shooter, and i think he could really develop next year on the Bucks after the Giannis trade. I was inbetween Kasparas or the original pick Joan Beringer who should hopefully have a bigger role in Minnesota next year

18. Jazz - Joan Beringer

Pick 20

Big Board Rank 26

i was between Beringer and Maluach for this pick as a backup bigman in Utah, but i think Beringer showed more his rookie season. With Walker Kessler's injuries and unresolved contract situation a high potential big man could be a good fit. Project Rudy Gobert 2.0 with a raw defensive French center in Salt Lake City

19. Nets - Khaman Maluach

Pick 10

Big Board Rank 8

Maluach didnt show much on the Suns and had a disapointing rookie year, but i really liked him at Duke and he still has a lot of potential. The Nets have already taken Fears earlier in this mock draft so i didnt want to get another guard and they are in position to take a risk on high potential

20. Heat - Javon Small

Pick 48

Big Board Rank 51

the Heat could still use a backup PG and with Kasparas off the board i was between Small and Traore, while Small did have a bigger role than expected on a bad and injured Memphis team i think he would be more ready as an immediate contributor in Miami as a steady guard and solid 3pt shooter

21. Wizards - Kobe Sanders

Pick 50

Big Board Rank 43

Kobe is a 6'8 guard that shot 40% from 3 and was a solid offensive contributor for LAC last year, and i believe in him a lot. I think he would fit really well in DC in the short and long term

22. Nets - Will Richard

Pick 56

Big Board Rank 47

i like the Nets taking an older rookie that has already shown an ability to be a solid contributor, Will Richard has the potential to be a real rotational piece as a 3 and D SG. its fair to argue that the original pick Drake Powell has more upside and potential, but i think Wills floor is higher and i like his fit in the backcourt next to Fears on this hypothetical Nets team

23. Hawks - Sion James

Pick 33

Big Board Rank 33

Sion seems like the type of player this Atlanta team loves, as a good perimiter defender and strong hustle guy with an okay 3pt shot.

24. Kings - Nolan Traore

Pick 19

Big Board Rank 20

i like Traore and he went lower than i expected him to, based a lot on teams above wanting immeidate contribution or not needing a PG, but i think he is a really good fit in Sacremento. He is pretty flawed, hes inefficent and not a great shooter, but hes fast going to the basket and a solid passer. i think he showed enough flashes last year for the Kings to take a swing

25. Magic - Asa Newell

Pick 23

Big Board Rank 23

has an argument to go as high as 22 but unfortunately i havent seen much of Asa during his rookie year, so take this with a grain of salt as its based on counting stats. He looks like he had a solid year and Orlando always need shooting and he seems to be a solid stretch 4. Any Hawks fans please comment, id love to know your opionions on Asa

26. Nets - Jase Richardson

Pick 25

Big Board Rank 11

another guy i didnt watch too much of this year, but i really loved Jase in college and he could maybe go higher. Based on counting stats he seemed like he had a decent year in a small role in Orlando, and he definitely seems like an upgrade on Ben Saraf for Brooklyn

27. Nets - Danny Wolf

Pick 27

Big Board Rank 21

Wolf is an unusual archetype as a ball handler passer PF and i hope he can make it work in the NBA. He did enough in an okay rookie season to make me thing hes still worth the swing here for Brooklyn

28. Celtics - Drake Powell

Pick 22

Big Board Rank 36

a similar archetype to the original pick Hugo Gonzalez who went much earlier in this redraft, Drake Powell is a perimiter defensive wing. He is a poor 3pt shooter though, so it would be more of a project for him to fit into a Joe Mazzula system

29. Hornets - Nique Clifford

Pick 24

Big Board Rank 18

Nique was such a fun player in college but he did struggle his rookie year on an awful Kings team, i still think he has a lot of upside even though he is an older rookie and i think he would really suit Charlotte as a two-way wing

30. Clippers - Dylan Cardwell

Undrafted

Big Board Rank 73

Cardwell has been such a fun hustle guy and another small brightspot on a cursed Sacremento team, the original pick Yanic would be valid here but i prefer Cardwell and think he had a better year last year although it was in a bigger role on a bad team

Honourable Mentions

Mo Diawara

Yanic Konan Niederhauser

Rasheer Flemings

Liam McNeely

Julian Reese

Ryan Nembhard

Caleb Love

Noa Essengue

Thomas Sorber

2025 NBA Redraft

now that then 2025 rookies have finished their season i thought it would be fun to do a redraft and see how it compared to the real draft order and my big board one year into their careers

obviously redrafts shouldn’t be taken seriously this early into the players careers, rookie seasons vary wildly based on role, fit, and health

this is just the lottery but let me know if i should do the rest of the first round, cause i have 30+ picks mocked out already. Also, please let me know what you think and what you might change

1. Mavs - Cooper Flagg

Pick 1

Big Board Rank 1

he won rookie of the year and i think he still has the highest ceiling as a 1A guy on a team, i still love Flagg and i think he is still comfortably number 1 in any redraft

2. Spurs - Kon Kneuppel

Pick 4

Big Board Rank 6

i was so suprised by how great Kon was offensively his rookie year. He looks like he is already up to being the guy and leading a team, which is not a role i projected him to have at all ahead of the draft. I love Harper and VJ but i think its an easy choice for who goes 2nd here, imagine him next to Wemby and Castle

3. 76ers - VJ Edgecombe

Pick 3

Big Board Rank 4

maybe the coolest player from this class, i think VJ is awesome and dont think the 76ers regret their pick at all. He is a much better fit next to Maxey than Harper in my opinion and has a really high two-way ceiling

4. Hornets - Dylan Harper

Pick 2

Big Board Rank 2

i think it shows the strength of the 2025 draft class that Harper falls to 4 coming off a historic finals run with the Spurs, i was glad he finally seemed to be getting his flowers in the playoffs as i thought his play was a little overshadowed by the dominance of the Spurs in the regular season and the three guard rotation. He is another offensive monster from this class and a much better shooter than i anticipated. I think Harper could easily lead this Hornets team into a post LaMelo era as a centre piece of a young core

5. Jazz - Ace Bailey

Pick 5

Big Board Rank 5

this is where this class starts to fall off a little, but Ace did show some really exciting flashes during his rookie season and i think he can be a real contributor to this Jazz team as they try and claw their way back to relevance

6. Wizards - Tre Johnson

Pick 6

Big Board Rank 3

i really believed in Tre going into the draft and i still have faith, he showcased his insane shooting ability throughout his rookie year and its an excellent calling card to have in the modern NBA. Similarly to Ace i think Tre can be a key contributor as the Wizards try to become competitive again

7. Pelicans - Derik Queen

Pick 13

Big Board Rank 10

the first big riser of the redraft, Queen had an inconcistent rookie season that felt overshadowed by the horrific trade that brought him to New Oreleans. I do worry about his long term future, especially his weakness as a defender, but the offensive flashes he showed as a rookie i think leaves the Pelicans feeling justified in the trade and moving him up in a redraft. I hope he can but all the pieces together, he is a cool player

8. Nets - Jeremiah Fears

Pick 7

Big Board Rank 6

similarly to Queen, the other Pelicans rookie is a very cool player that has a solid first season offensively but i worry about the long term outlook because of his meh shooting. Fears is a really fun player and i have the feeling that he has a massive drive to succeed, and i really hope he does. The Nets just drafted Mikel Brown, who i do prefer as a prospect, but i think Fears wouldve been a lot of fun in Brooklyn last year, and has been better than any of the other ball handler rookies they took

9. Raptors - Collin Murray-Boyles

Pick 9

Big Board Rank 12

i am a Raptors fan and i was totally wrong about CMB, ahead of the draft i didnt want Toronto to take him and was all in on Maluach (this is why i dont work as a scout). I love CMB and he has a strong argument to go as high as 5 in this redraft, but for now i thought it would be best for the rebuilding teams above to take higher offensive upside swings as they try and find their identity and 'the guy'. I think CMB will go higher in redrafts in a few years, when we know which guys above have and have not reached their potential. CMB is an awesome defender and rebounder, with some real stretch big flashes

10. Suns - Cedric Coward

Pick 11

Big Board Rank 13

another guy that can easily be argued to go higher, i think the Suns would love to have a guy like Coward who has shown he's ready to contribute to winning as a part of their wing rotation

11. Grizzlies - Hugo Gonzalez

Pick 28

Big Board Rank 35

another drop off in quality outside of the top 10, but Hugo is another guy i was dead wrong about. He has been a real contributor to a Celtics team that exceeded all regular season expectations last year. While keeping him untouchable in a Giannis package was crazy, he is a really fun defender and i do believe he can hit on his potential in Boston. While he doesnt have the production of some guys that are going after him in this redraft, i think the upside puts him in a good position for a team like Memphis to swing on him

12. Bulls - Maxime Raynaud

Pick 42

Big Board Rank 24

Raynaud has been one of the only birghtspots on a cursed Kings season last year, he is another fun offensive big that exceeded all expectations of a 2nd rounf pick. During the 2025 draft the Bulls did look like they needed a successor to Nikola Vucevic, and i think Raynaud would suit them

13. Pelicans - Egor Demin

Pick 8

Big Board Rank 29

i was also wrong about Demin, i didnt believe in the 3-point shot but hes shown he can really shoot it at the NBA level with maybe even more upside if he can really tap into the passing and ball handling. I think hed suit the Pelicans, and maybe fill the role they were hoping Jordan Hawkins would as their SG sniper

14. Spurs - Carter Bryant

Pick 14

Big Board Rank 14

Bryant didnt show loads his rookie season but i still believe he was the right pick for the Spurs at 14, he was always going to be less polished his rookie year and he has shown strong defensive flashes and upside
