Wanted to share a special cornet I bought about 12 years ago in college. King Master Cornet

I was playing in a British Brass Band in college and found this old cornet on ebay. I just pulled it out of storage today and it brought back fond memories. Still as warm as ever of a sound and I forgot just how beautiful the craftsmanship was on it.

I was trying to remember it's history and I found the note that the seller included with it which is pretty cool. But I can't remember when it was made, I think by the serial number and patent pending mark it was one of the very early horns. If anyone knows anymore about the history of these fine instruments I'd love to hear more.

Or just simply hear your stories behind these wonderful instruments! The note is in the last picture if you are interested.
