If rokuhira kunishige is akemura soga’s brother in law which is also chikais younger brother, doesn’t that mean kunishige is also chiaki’s brother? I’m so confused 🤔

I’m so confused. How did yura use shinuichi abilities let alone without having the sword at all. Clearly he got possessed like kyora but i don’t understand how him applying his spirit energy before giving it up to the kamunabi gave him the option to get possessed or sumn😭😭??
