The M3 is amazing

My finished M3, downsized from a CH260, since I got an amazing deal on Amazon, a brand new B760i Strix for 100€. So I pulled the trigger before the new EU rules kicked in, and I’m in love with this case.
The possibilities, the finish, the overall quality is absolutely amazing.

I did the flipped config, and the temps are great, really a fun build to work with. Did my best on the cable management, but could be refined a bit in the future.

Parts list:

CPU: Intel i5-14600kf
MOBO: ASUS STRIX B760-i
GPU: ASUS TUF GAMING RTX 4070
MEM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB
PSU: Corsair SF750
COOL: Noctua NH-U12A

My Ncase M3

Moved all my stuff from my CH260 build, fitted perfectly.

Im seriously amazed by this case. That small footprint, and the ability to house so many different types of compontents and possibilities.
And the quality is insane!

A couple of things I still need to tinker with:

- I need to flip the config and try the rear intake, since there is a lot more turbulence noise than I was expecting under load.

- Im still trying to figure out the deshroud I made, since the fans still monitor CPU temps, even though I made a fan curve in fan control.

- There is some small gaps at the top, where the front and the rear panels meet. I’m sure it’s just me not doing it right, but that is kinda annoying to look at.

All in all a wonderful case though!

Amazing deal on Amazon

Always wanted to downsize to itx, but didn’t want to pay full price for an older generation like the LGA1700 (since I have a 14600k).
Just sniped this deal on Amazon. 102 euros for a brand new, returned, B760i Strix!

4070 TUF fan shroud

Has anyone ever made a shroud for the TUF card? Can’t seem to find a file anywhere, would gladly pay for one.
I would love to have a version that could house two NF-12x25 fans, a budget 4080 Noctua card if you will.

Does it make sense choosing M2 over M3?

Hi everyone,
I’m completely torn between the NCASE M2 and M3 for my upcoming SFF build, and I could really use some input from anyone who has built in either (or both!).
My main goal is a quiet, inverted/flipped setup with a deshrouded GPU at the top.

My specs:
CPU: Intel i5-14600KF (Undervolted, PL1/PL2 locked at 150W)
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B760M-PLUS II (mATX)
GPU: ASUS TUF RTX 4070 (Planning a deshroud with 2x NF-A12x25 fans)
PSU: Corsair SF750
Coolers available: Noctua NH-U12A and Noctua NH-D12L

My two build ideas:

The M2 Route: Flipped layout, deshrouded TUF 4070 in the top, and using the NH-D12L as intake. Love the small footprint and it skips the EU 150€ customs limit for me. But I'm worried about cable management and component crowding with an mATX board.

The M3 Route: Flipped layout, deshrouded TUF 4070 in the top, but utilizing the bigger NH-U12A with a dedicated intake and exhaust fan for a full wind-tunnel effect. It will cost me about 30-40€ extra due to import taxes, and has a larger footprint.

My questions for you:
How painful is cable management in the M2 with an mATX board and a flipped layout? Is it worth the desk space saved?
Will the acoustics/thermal benefits of the NH-U12A "wind tunnel" in the M3 drastically outperform the NH-D12L in the M2 for a 150W CPU?
Given the deshroud plans, which chassis just "makes more sense" to live with daily?

Thanks in advance!
