Incoming freshman here, I didn't really know what I was doing with roommate matching until like mid-June and I still haven't had much luck since figuring it out. I saw in an email that you can continue matching until the 31st but like do you just get randomly assigned someone?? Are you able to guarantee rooming with the same gender in that case?

This might be a really stupid question but I'm gonna be a freshman this fall (im mech e so probably in Buxton-Hawley) and I just wanted to know where y'all do dishes (like waterbottles or kettles etc)
