Yesterday I made a post where I had 2.5k gems and 7 agents to open and try to get Yamal or Rodri. I had already gotten the card I was most interested in from this event, which was Pogba, but I had this little feeling of wanting an 87-rated player from this edition. I was going to completely skip the event after Pogba, but today I woke up determined to open agents with my girlfriend, since I know she enjoys it. I had opened 3 agents a few weeks ago and had no luck, so I let a few days go by and started farming. I had enough resources to open just the 12 I needed for the guaranteed one, but my girlfriend was incredibly lucky and got me Lamine with only one agent. I'm going to propose to her! 😁 Now I have 2.5k gems and 6 agents, giving me a total of 13 agents to open. I want to spend them, but I'm getting that feeling again that I'm not going to get anything. I still want Rodri. The other players aren't any good to me. I'll think about it for a day to see what I'll do. If I decide to open agents even though I don't have enough for the guaranteed money and I get Rodri, that would be crazy.

I got it, damn it, I did it! I managed to get 8x90 on this card. It was the only WCW card I wanted when they were leaked and there were only 4 of them. I spent all my resources on the WCH cards and barely made it to open 15 agents. I got it in the guaranteed player, but at least it was the player I wanted. He's a very solid CM, his passing is insane, and he has a good shot from outside the box. He dribbles well, and thanks to his height, he can head any ball in midfield. An incredible card that's worth it; it's unique. The game owed it to me for selling my 83-rated version 😁

There's not much to say about this player; he's fantastic. Like his Champion version, he might be the best player in the game, or perhaps the second best. His dribbling is very good for a CF player. He's incredibly fast, agile, and positions himself perfectly. He makes amazing passes, even with 85 stats. His shots are out of this world, world-class. You can often hit them from anywhere and they go in with tremendous power. Being two-footed is definitely a plus. He's very strong with 100 STR. Obviously, he sometimes loses against a physically imposing defender, but that's normal. Most of the time, he doesn't get knocked down and even gets ahead of them when they're challenging for the ball. In the air, he wins at least 70% of his headers, even at 1.87 meters tall. Although I think FTG should have programmed this version of Ronaldo to head the ball like Haaland, we're talking about the Ronaldo who jumped over a meter to head a ball and did it twice! I don't have his 88-rated card to compare it to since this is my first special version of Ronaldo. I can only say that he's one of the best players in my starting eleven; he appears in every match with a goal and an assist without fail. A card that was definitely worth getting; he performs very well for me. He's become my top scorer, even surpassing Haaland. Camellonaldo is the GOAT!

If you have version 88 and this one, could you tell me what the differences are and how it feels in the game? I'd appreciate it to get an idea of what these two versions have in common. 😁🤝

The gap between my ACC and the other stats was impressive; it was 14 points away from reaching 90, and I only got it 4 points short. Very well done, I'd say. I can't wait to farm gems and finish it.

He's an incredible player: fast, strong, agile, and with a world-class shot. He scores a lot of goals with both his left and right foot. Besides his goal-scoring ability, he has excellent vision and is an exceptional playmaker. He provides incredible assists, with precise and excellent passes. He's one of the best playmakers, along with KDB WC Hero. I love him because I absolutely wanted Messi in my starting eleven. I have his 96-rated gold version, but it's poorly upgraded, and I hadn't returned to the game when the 88-rated version came out. I can't compare it to the 88-rated version, but it definitely feels better than the 96-rated version.

Do you think the game will die until the next OVR update? (From what I've seen, it's supposed to be in December).

Is it worth spending resources on this event if the next one is in December/January?

Would you save your resources in case an event comes unexpectedly in a month or two?

I have several questions that I'd like to know if others have them and what their opinions are.

This card is useless even after being upgraded, in my opinion. He can't play as a center forward. Where would you put him? Would he at least stay on your bench?

Try to find a build similar to the one I have for his old 96 version. His regular card, although with fewer stats, is just as good; he always contributes with passes, defends well, and has an exceptional shot. But his WC Hero card is a level above. I have give him 92 Speed and 92 Accuracy, he feels incredibly smooth and fast. His shooting is world-class, and even though he has 80 Strength, it's very confiable. He's also very physical in close quarters. As for his 74 Tackle, there's not much difference because he always easily wins the ball back, even from strikers like Haaland (his old 96 version did this too). His passing is so high-quality that it always puts you one-on-one with the goalkeeper, delivering perfect through balls for the strikers. Very happy with his WC Hero card. I really wanted a special Debruyne card, especially so I could give him the stats I want, since unfortunately I couldn't get him to 90 in accuracy with the gold version. Without further ado, this is a worthwhile card as a CM or AM. And I think, in my opinion, this is the best build for him because believe me, this Debruyne needs 4x100 in CON, PAS, SHO, and STA. At least 90 or more in SPE and ACC, and rest assured that 80 STR and 74-75 TAC is more than enough.

They told me Argentina wouldn't make it past the round of 32, or even the round of 16. Today we're in the final and I'm the happiest Argentinian again, just like in 2022. Thank you Messi, thank you players, thank you Argentina!!

I have an internal conflict. On one hand, I have three players I need to improve and limited resources. These are players who are in my starting eleven. I have some players I prioritize improving and others I'll probably never use, or rarely use, and I'm not even sure I'll ever improve. But on the other hand, they don't bother me or take up much space.
I think about upgrading De Bruyne, maybe I'll never think about upgrading Valderrama or Tzolis. I think we all go through this conflict with this game at some point.
What would you do?

I'll probably sell the players I might never use, but it's also nice to collect in this game and I respect those who do.

Do you have a manager who you think has an aura? Show it off.

Something that's quite noticeable in this game (especially in the pre-game, in-game, and post-game animations) is the manager, and there are very few options to customize them. But you can definitely create managers with an aura. I think I've found the way I like best. I hope they add more customization options in the future; it's a small but important thing.

Two things can happen here. I can start off badly with 1 point in passing, and then manage to avoid it until the end as the card develops, or it can quickly reappear, and my passing goes from 84 to 85, putting me on the verge of either ruining the card or improving it properly.

If anyone knows what I can do in this situation, please talk to me and help me. Give me coaching.

I only wanted Messi, Ronaldo, KDB, and Walker, but I got Messi as the last player, so I decided to use all my resources. 16k gems and 33 agents later, I'm satisfied because I know that upgraded these players will be great and play fantastically in my squad. I finally have two OVR cards with +86 ratings, and I'm happy knowing they're GOATS. I didn't manage to get their Champion versions; I have the 86-rated Messi (poorly improved) and the 92-rated CR7, so these WC versions are going to be more than just starters in my team. Happy, and now to save up as much as I can for WC Winners.

After getting Navas and James World Cup, I decided to sell their blue card versions, freeing up two more slots to max out a card. I decided it would be Kanté since he's a nostalgic player and I wanted to collect him before his gold card price dropped. I didn't manage to get any other champions, so I don't have him. If he were to appear in this new version of champions for winning with France in 2018, I'd love to have him, but we don't know which cards will be released yet. 👀

I spent 16k gems and 33 agents. I had estimated 5 players but getting them all is even better. Messi is coming!
