How are Hydra download sources verified, and what does "Trusted" mean?
I have a question about the security and reliability of download sources in Hydra Launcher.
On RuTracker, every torrent has a reputation system. Users can see whether a release is verified, suspicious, how many people downloaded it, and read comments from the community. This makes it much harder for malicious releases to spread because problematic torrents can be reported and removed.
How does Hydra handle this situation?
Since Hydra uses external download sources, does it also inherit the reputation and verification information from these sources? For example, if a source collects releases from RuTracker, would Hydra know whether that specific torrent was verified, suspicious, or trusted by the RuTracker community, or does it only receive the game information and download link?
My concern is that a user might download a game through Hydra without seeing the history and reputation of the original release. If a malicious torrent was uploaded to a source, would Hydra have any way to detect it, or would it simply provide the file like any other download?
Also, does the "Trusted" status shown on https://library.hydra.wiki/ mean that the source has been manually verified and confirmed to be safe? What exactly are the requirements for a source to receive the "Trusted" status?
