Chumbak - so much waste potential. Can skip it
Had some expectations from Chumbak , mainly because of the cast and the people behind it. Trailer felt pretty average, but I thought maybe they were deliberately not giving much away.
After watching it, kinda disappointed.
The biggest issue for me was that some of the comedy just felt forced. 😭
It’s not bad or anything. A few good laughs, decent performances, and definitely a one-time watch. But with this cast, it feels like a missed opportunity. Some characters and ideas had so much potential, but they just… stayed potential.
And honestly, I think I’ve started falling for the Netflix + good cast = must be good trap too often. 😭 The banner and the cast can get you to click, but they can’t carry the whole thing if the writing and comedy aren’t landing.
Had better expectation from the makers of sarabhai and khichdi
