Up and running.

Battery after installation yesterday. Maybe 36hrs after install is running well. Didn’t notice anything different. Cool to see the numbers during usage via the app.

One pic has usage near zero. 2 large and one small fridge and a couple of ceiling fans running. Nothing else on, no tv just network equipment. Next pic shows the ac running and you can see the spike in usage. Pretty cool for sure.

Install day!

Electricians are starting install now. Speaking to the electrician, my breaker could have been ungraded for a couple of grand. Well too late now. I was thinking at least double but will take what I can get. One battery is better than no battery.

My referral if anyone needs it for Texas, We both get a credit!

Install Timeline

Looks like maybe late Sept or 1st week of Oct for full install. Called on the 28th to get signed up. Sent pics that day. Got approved on Sept. 2nd. Could have picked Sept 18 for electrical install but opted for the 25th since I needed to be available then. But was told battery would be installed a week after electrical. So in theory first week of October would be up and running. If that happens, total time would be 1 month or less for complete install. I guess it depends on the battery availability and the install crew. They seem to be getting more efficient as they keep rolling.

As always, referral for Texas!!

Two batteries to one

Was turned down for two batteries but was allowed for one. Was trying to figure out why and thought it was not enough space. Started reading the documentation and saw that I need a breaker box that has a 200 amp capacity to be able to have 2 batteries. I have 125 amp. Anyone go through that! I know one battery should be plenty for short outages but I was set on having two just to be sure I had enough.

I do have a generator to charge up if needed. I’m just trying to get the most possible! Lol.
