Lipo Convo

This week there was a brief conversation about liposuction and Woody claimed to not know anyone that had gotten it. I can vividly remember him talking about Jackie getting it and the recovering being the worst part (specifically the 6 week recovery) am I crazy or does anyone else remember this story?

Kyles Car Dealership

Does anyone know what dealership Kyle worked at? Has he ever brought it up like how Taylor brings up the Boise auto mall Enterprise. Don't need a car nor do I live anywhere near Georgia. I'm just nosy and like to know these kinda things.

GEN Z Husker Fan POV

There’s no major Nebraska sports until football again this year, so I figured this would be a good time to give some perspective and rant a little.

Many people say Nebraska fans are like Cowboys fans and are stuck in the 90s, but to younger fans like myself, it’s felt more like watching the Browns my entire life. Growing up, I watched many of my friends jump ship to better programs (Oregon, LSU, Bama, Oklahoma, etc.), and it’s only gotten worse with fans younger than me. It worries me that if we don’t get back on track soon, not only will we lose the little prestige we have left, but also our fanbase as a whole.

To give a little perspective, since I was born in late 2002, here’s the Husker stat line. And mind you, I’m too young to even remember some of these games:

178–136 overall (.567 winning percentage)

0 National Championships

0 National Championship Game appearances

4 Conference Championship Game appearances
2006 Big 12 Championship (lost)
2009 Big 12 Championship (lost)
2010 Big 12 Championship (lost)
2012 Big Ten Championship (lost)

0 NY6 Bowl appearances

8–9 Bowl record

19 ranked wins (3 since 2015)

15 winning seasons (3 since Pelini)

I don’t know how to right the ship. The 2027 class looks promising, and hopefully it gets us back to relevance, but if nothing changes soon, there’s a real chance that in 10 years not many people will care enough to fill the stands anymore and that’s incredibly sad.

Anyway, thanks for reading my doomer post.
Hopefully older fans can get some perspective for those of us born since the turn of the century.
