For my son's 12u Baltimore tournament trip...relics!
We are a month away. His last two starters were against the two best teams in the league. He pitched six total innings, struck out 10 , gave up 6 earned runs, 11 unearned thanks to poor defense. These two teams are averaging 16 runs a game, so he held them to three and four earned.
He was experimenting at one point and gave up a home run on a palm ball he decided to throw for fun and another homer of a changeup he lost control of and threw a meatball. I'm proud he went out there fearless and fought hard.
