Kaufmann Stadium, 7/30

This place was cool. Felt like a time capsule to a different era, not in the way that Wrigley did but to baseball in the 90s. Dredged up some very old Busch II memories.

Fountains were super cool, concourse was unique in the outfield considering there were very few seats out there, concessions weren’t anything special but I had Dole whip in freaking Missouri and a healthy number of Boulevard beers. Oh also the RF concourse men’s room may have been the most disgusting bathroom I have ever used and I used it an hour before first pitch. Bonus points to the maybe 7 year old girl covered in ice cream and cotton candy right in front of us who looked like she wanted to rip my throat out because I had a Cardinals jersey on. I-70 rivalry is alive and well.

A close 4th place behind Nationals Park for me, but still doesn’t touch Busch or PNC. I will be sad to see it go!
