I’m looking for advice and recommendations for equipment to buy to support an astronomy/astrophotography club for young people (age range 15-18). The aim is to allow club members to borrow the equipment and take it home for stargazing and to try their hand at astrophotography.

We already own:

1. Dwarf 3 smart telescope
2. Mini hydraulic tripod

We have a budget of £800 to purchase additional equipment and I’m putting together a list of ideas. This is what I’m thinking so far:

1. iPad 11-inch + case, to give out pre-installed with relevant software
2. XStorm outdoor power bank
3. A monocular or spotting scope - recommendations please?
4. Red torch/headlight
5. A hard case with customisable foam to easily transport and protect it all

I’m new to all this and only have a few days experience of testing out the Dwarf 3, so I’d appreciate feedback from more experienced hobbyists about whether I’m thinking along the right lines, or am I missing any essentials? Thanks
