Posting this on behalf of my friend who has been trying to get a refund from Dawntown for quite some time now.

He had originally placed an order for Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT “Stadium Green” (UK 6) worth ₹16,999.

After the order was placed, he was informed that the pair was no longer available. Dawntown then asked him to choose another pair instead.

He later asked for Jordan 4 Military Blue (Men’s UK 6), but Ranveer from their team informed him that the men’s size was not available anywhere in India and only GS sizing was available.

Because of this, my friend requested a refund to the original payment method.

Ranveer acknowledged the refund request and confirmed things like:
- “Okay done”
- “It’ll go back to the same account that you made the payment from”
- “Don’t worry, we will give a full refund”

When my friend followed up again asking whether the refund had been initiated, he was told:
- “Not yet bro”
- “It will be processed in a day or two”

After that, the communication gradually stopped completely.

Calls were not answered, WhatsApp messages were ignored, customer care wasn’t picking up, and emails also received no response. Even follow-up messages asking for refund status went unanswered.

Later on, my friend also came to know from Ranveer himself that he had been laid off from the company, which made the whole situation even more unclear regarding who was handling the refund internally.

We have screenshots of:
- the order,
- refund confirmation messages,
- refund follow-ups,
- and unanswered calls/messages.

And I would be happy to share them, but not doing so here for privacy concerns.

Would really appreciate if someone here could help connect us with the right person from Dawntown or guide us on the best way to escalate this and finally get the refund resolved.
