James Cameron was quoted as saying yup piranha 2 the spawning it was the best flying fish movie I ever made (sarcastically)

Is it a banger ? nope not at all but it's a rare flick that you hardly see pop up anywhere. It's an acquired taste for sure but dam I haven't seen it in so long, I don't even really remember it.

So far that's one hell of a way to open a movie.

Didn't see the movie under recently added and it popped up as just added under 1980's Horror.
