I bought a brand new 2023 Vulcan S! My second ever bike

Today, Saturday the 16th here in Australia I rode out of the dealer with my second ever bike. My first bike was a CFMOTO 650MT, and here in Australia I am still in my restricted license until December this year.

I am beyond happy with it so far, I just have to get used to the seating position and foot position after coming from an adventure bike.

I am 6 foot and 100kg, and the bike came with the default medium reach option, so I’m wondering if extended reach foot pegs will be beneficial. I find my left foot sometimes has to go at a funny angle to shift up a gear.

Any experience with the extended reach pegs, or must have mods would be much appreciated.

Stay safe riding!

Help please! Looking to buy but need handlebar measurement.

Hi all,
I am very much considering buying a 2023 Vulcan S but I am worried that I won’t be able to fit it through my back gate. The website lists that the bike is 880mm wide, however I am not sure whether to trust it.

My gate is 810mm wide, and I would really appreciate it if someone could measure the width of their standard size handlebars end to end.

Thank you!
