Prediction about Elektra
First, let me just say that I have no insider information. I'm just a big fan of the game.
My prediction: Elektra's pre-con will come with 'Pool.
With all the Daredevil info being released recently, it's clear that upgrades on enemies are an essential part of his kit. "Raising Hell" supports that play-style since he does damage to all enemies with an upgrade attached.
OK, awesome.
But then I noticed his team-up card with Elektra; Dance with the Devil is an upgrade (great for Daredevil), but then it also comes with an Amplify Icon on it. Knowing that team-up cards are useful for either "hero", this amplify icon must be good for Elektra, right?
This means that Elektra's kit is probably going to utilize these icons in some way.
And who else do we know that loves bad-icons? Anyone playing the 'Pool aspect of course.
FFG has said in the past that 'Pool will be supported in some way, it was just hard to imagine how.
Because of licensing and whatnot, the "pool" name will probably have to be changed. But with the current environment system, the X-Force wave has fallen off and thus FFG can make their changes without worrying about cards of the past.
It's here that I believe they can simply change the name of the aspect from "pool" to something simple like "Anti-Hero" (which perfectly describes Elektra and a lot of other Marvel characters... Punisher, anyone?).
It'll still be pink, and not as much of a "break-the-fourth-wall" style that Deadpool uses, but it'll definitely inject some life into the aspect.
