Jake in Godhood and his Legacy Skills

I've seen a few posts speculating on the nature of Jake's likely >!legacy Skills and what is likely to happen to the "of the Malefic Viper" profession skills when he ascends someday.!<

Many folks point to >! Gaze and Moment of the Primal Hunter as being likely Legacy Skills for Jake someday. However, there's understandably some confusion of whether Jake once he fully realizes himself in godhood as The Primal Hunter, what happens to his Legacy Malefic Viper skills? !<

I think this is already answered in the text so far in two places and the answer is: >! Skill fusions. When Meira is selected as Duskleaf's Chosen, it's revealed she has a unique version of Palette skill from him. Similarly, Jake has been able to upgrade many of the Legacy Malefic Skills by fusing them with other skills. E.g. Fangs of the Malefic Viper upgraded via being combined with Fangs if Man. !<

At a certain point in Jake's progression, >! I think each Legacy Skill from the Malefic Viper will be upgraded in a manner that it grows beyond being "of the Malefic Viper" and becomes something uniquely Jake's. Probably when there is some kind of conflict with Jake's bloodline, like with how Moment of the Primal Hunter was first created. !<

The first of these that I expect will be >! Pride of the Malefic Viper (that wanes in Despair). I've been relistening to the series, and it's brought up early with respect to mental attacks, and Jake ultimately elects not to pick up the class skill "Hunter's Determination". I think at some point Jake might pick up that old skill, and with the Bloodline merge it with Pride in order to create an "Of the Primal Hunter" skill. !<

I'll be excited to see what happens with >! Wings, Scales, Fangs, and the others that are so very of the Viper though. Naturally there will be some aspects that tie specifically towards primeval origins too. !<

Question about sperm health and prolonged fasting

Have a question that has been bothering me lately, and hoping some folks on here can put me at ease.

On the subject of trying to conceive children, and sperm health: I was reading that spermatogenesis is 74 days long, and that prolonged fasting will have an impact on healthy sperm formation.

I've been prolonged fasting on and off for the past several months, and personally feeling great. However, would there be any real risks to trying to conceive a child for the next 74 days, or is it necessary or at least prudent to wait?

So close to crossing over!

I've been doing rolling prolonged fasts. 2w out of the month I be fasting. Currently on Day 10 of fast#3 (started in April).

* SW: 237lbs

* GW: 190lbs

Will finish this fast on Monday, and then pick it up again in July. Try to stick with OMAD between fasts hopefully.

Rolling Prolonged Fasts - Round 3 (Day 5)

Currently on the 3rd iteration of doing a 14-21 day fast every month. First was 17 days, second was 14 days, currently on Day 5.

I take a break for ~2w in-between fasts.

I wanted to do this for two reasons:

 1. While I've had success with prolonged fasting before (longest was 40 days), the weight always comes back eventually, and I wanted to get better at staying below a threshold and dropping into a fast when I need to without it being a "big deal".

 2. My target weight is 190lbs, and my starting weight that I tend to hit before doing a prolonged fast is 237lbs. That's a wider gap than I can do even in 40 days.

I was inspired by rolling fasts I've seen others do on this sub. However, if I get past Day 5, I want to finally enjoy the good vibes of Days 6-15 that I personally observe.

* April fast: 237lbs ==> 215lbs (17 days)

* May fast: 226lbs ==> 206lbs (14 days)

* June fast: 218lbs ==> ? (? days)

I am seeing progress, and trending down, but it's definitely upsetting in-between fasts seeing the weight comes back so aggressively. I'm not great at OMAD, and I'm not very disciplined when I'm eating. I'm good at fasting or fattening it seems like.

I remember when I did my 40 day fast, after about 6w post-fast, I no longer gained weight as aggressively. I'm wondering if in-between my longer prolonged fasts I should try something to interrupt the weight gain. Maybe even switch to rolling 24h fasts for some period post fast.

Open to suggestions from the community!

Update: Rolling Prolonged Fasts (On Day 12 of Fast 2)

> I did 17 days in April and went from 237lbs to 215lbs. Now, I'm on Day 6 of my next leg, and I'm back at 215lbs after the initial hump. I'm planning to go for another 17 or so, and probably doing this again in June. Hopefully work my way down to a goal weight of 190lbs.

So now I'm on Day 12 of Fast#2, probably around 207lbs. At least 5 more days to go with my original plan. This fast was pretty hard just from stress in my personal life, but I'm pretty happy with the results so far. Right now, I'm planning to end the fast next Friday as planned, wait a few weeks for the rebound, and then start fasting again when I'm around 210lbs.

For the last leg, I'm planning to overshoot my goal weight by 10lbs and hit 180lbs, then rebound up to 190lbs.

Afterwards, I'm going to fast bimonthly for 7-10 days to make sure I stay under 200lbs from now on.

Tried to find the cover artist. For this series (which is lengthy), most people reference the illustrations of Gil Cohen.

Rolling Prolonged Fasts, and Celebrating the ~~little~~ **big** things

I've previously done prolonged fasts up to 40 days. Usually I'll do these once a year or so, and basically re-up when my weight climbs to an unacceptable level.

On the plus side, I've maintained the **range** of my weight, and generally kept things like cholesterol in check. However, it is disappointing seeing weight climb.

I've been inspired by other folks on this sub doing rolling fasts (great job!). I've never been able to do those. I seem to only have two gears, so I can fast for like a month or not at all.

I decided to try something new though:

* Rolling prolonged fasts

I did 17 days in April and went from 237lbs to 215lbs. Now, I'm on Day 6 of my next leg, and I'm back at 215lbs after the initial hump. I'm planning to go for another 17 or so, and doing this again in June. Hopefully work my way down to a goal weight of 190lbs.

After that, I'm going to try and do 7 days every 6-8 weeks as maintenance and see if I can permanently stay below 200lbs.

Wish me luck!

PS: probably TMI, but it's Day 6, and I just had a remarkably big BM. So hurray! 🎉
