It's never just simple.

I was offered my minimum requirement for a job I interviewed for, but the day before I received the offer I got an unexpected 10% increase at my current job - making the job offer much less sweet.

There will be better opportunities at this new position, but I'm increasing my commute and giving up 2 remote work days a week. I'm bored out of my mind at my current job.

I'm never one to do this, but I'm wondering if I should counter for more money. I know it's not their problem that I got a raise, but I'm fairly confident they offered me the bottom of their range.

I have not accepted the offer yet.

On the fence.

Would you pay $2200 for your 12yo son to play on the newly established (D list) travel team? Coached by dads with winter training and 5-8 tournaments? Also an additional fee for Ripken in Cedar Pointe.

The alternative is a year of rec ball and monthly one-on-one skills training.
