Loader coupler keeps weeping
The loader quick coupler started weeping at the face last month. I changed the seal first because it was the cheap guess, but it still leaked after cleaning and reconnecting it. Once it was off, the poppet seat looked worn rather than dirty. I compared the thread, pressure rating, and seal material across a local hydraulic shop. The machine is on biodegradable hydraulic fluid, so I did not want to order by thread size alone. I have not pressure-tested the replacement yet. Before I put it back in service, is there anything else you would check on the female half or hose end?
