Lucky escape with a gas pipe - or not?
Drilled into a wall with a self tapping metal screw since the stud finder had promised metal on the other side but something didn’t feel right.
Found a way to stick phone camera from ceiling into the wall and found a gas pipe secured right to the plasterboard which I had just missed.
How worried should I be about this?
No gas smell or noise and from photos it looks like no actual puncture but clearly not ideal.
Replacing it would be a nightmare but may not have a choice?
This is in an apartment and from what I understand this is a CCST gas pipe.
