Is there a way to create a collection of things I want to watch next?

When I’m looking for something new to watch, I’ll often find several options that I’m interested in. I’d like to be able to add my second (or third) choice to a “Watch Next” playlist, so I don’t have to go through the whole process of searching through my entire collection again later.

At the moment, I use Favorites for this, but I’d rather use Favorites for what it’s actually intended for.

I also tried creating a playlist, but that seems to add all the individual episodes of a TV show to the playlist rather than just adding the TV show itself.

Is there any way to achieve this, or is there another feature I’m missing?
