Honeymoon Help
My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon for December 14–31 and would love some destination recommendations! We’re looking for somewhere with great weather, beautiful beaches, and a mix of relaxing and exploring, and we’d really like at least one part of the trip to have a private pool or private swimming space. We’re completely open to doing multiple destinations. We don’t drink alcohol, so nightlife isn’t important to us. The Maldives is currently a top choice for around 5 nights because we love the idea of a private-pool/overwater villa, but it seems really expensive, especially around the holidays. We also have Chase Sapphire Reserve and Preferred cards and would love to make good use of points/perks. Is the Maldives worth the splurge, or are there other destinations you’d recommend that offer a similar romantic/luxury experience for less? Would love any suggestions, especially for specific resorts!
