Unfortunately it does seem to appear that Lake Jackson’s bot is confirmed to be destroyed. I want to make this clear that whenever you hear a bot was “sent to SPT” it’s most of the time very likely to be a lie.

Recent closures like Toledo had their bots taken apart and scattered across different stores, and even farther back to stores like Abilene had theirs “destroyed” as well.

It truly is a shame to see a brand that I care so deeply for destroy such an iconic piece of animatronic history in a matter of minutes. Those characters brought smiles to many children and adults over the years, and seeing them ripped to shreds breaks me on the inside. We are now down to 7 stores left without the remodel, so please go out and see those shows while you still can.

Of course I’ll continue to show my support for the brand even if they make some decisions I don’t agree with, and I ask you guys to please not harass or bother any of the employees involved in closures. They were practically doing what they were told to do from corporate.

For the record I’m not talking about the extra stock Creative Engineering had, but only the Billy bobs that were in showbiz pizza locations that went through concept unification. I’ve heard that some employees walked off with him during CU but unsure if that was ever confirmed at some stores.

Over two years ago I heard my last local CEC with a bot was remodeling, so I decided to ask my uncle who worked near there to see if he could salvage anything. Little did I know that decision changed my animatronic life forever.

Unfortunately my uncle didn’t know the value of the parts, so he only grabbed the head and arms along with some cosmetics of him. Thankfully my now friends grabbed everything else except the base which was too big and heavy (valve board was also grabbed).

After I got Chuck I was thrilled, but at the time I had no clue what the heck I was doing. So much so I made “restoration” videos which you might’ve watched awhile go. I’m glad to say I’ve grown much more and learned how animatronics like studio c bots work which lead me to now currently restoring another character. It’s crazy how these things start.

As for his future, we worked out a deal and he’s waiting to be put back together sometime soon. Can’t wait for you guys to see the finished product!

Hello everyone, thought I’d share some progress I’ve been making on my cyber.

For the longest time I’ve always wanted to restore a character, so last year when a torso popped up for a decent price I decided to buy it. I have studio c parts that I saved from the maple grove store that gave me a general idea on how these characters worked so I’ve been making some decent progress.

As of recently I’ve been working on adjusting the right arm cylinder to the left since he used to be a portrait bot (at least I believe so). It’s possible that this torso came from Concord, CA pizza time theatre which was the third ever Chuck E. Cheese but I can’t fully say he is from there (at the very least he’s definitely not from the prototype cybers). I also recently got a 90s headframe from a friend that came from Edison, NJ which had the third set of animation world bots so my character will have some sick history with him.

The plan is to eventually restore him to his ptt version where he had the arm swings and such instead of him playing the keyboard since those are harder to find today. If you have any questions let me know :)

Visited a former Mac Tonight location yesterday and it had me wondering how many of these guys survived the remodels McDonald’s did? I’m aware of two, with one of them being at the Orlando location still (got to see him last year).

Hi everyone! I have these pictures of the Maple Grove Chuck E Cheese and was wondering if anyone here had awesome memories there as a kid. I myself went there a couple times back in 2024 shortly before the remodel known as “2.0” where they remove and destroy the animatronics for a dance floor and video wall. Ever since then I’ve been able to own pieces from there like the 1993 saloon poster that used to be to the left of the entrance and parts of chuck himself. Since I saved/own stuff I thought it would be nice to hear fun memories especially of their animatronic. Thank you!
