The ORB strategy - dont overcomplicate it

The ORB strategy - dont overcomplicate it

I feel like I’ve gone full circle with trading.

Started with a simple ORB strategy and did well for a couple of months. Had a bad day, went on tilt and blew the account.

Decided I needed more knowledge, so went down the rabbit hole: indicators, R:R, 4H setups, S/R, trendlines, ICT, etc.

Eventually my mind was just scrambled. Too much on one chart, conflicting information.

Ok, you know this 2:1 ducking requirement, yeah its nice when it hits. You know i never really looked at ATR. Man, A T R !!. Im aiming for nearly or sometimes over the full range of the day!

Ive stripped everything right back, just taking what the market is offering. 4 basic rules -

  1. candle to close outside orb

  2. In direction with EMA

  3. TP set at current ATR

  4. One trade a day

83% win rate over 66 trades.

Although they dont get the time of day, I love them all! Open to suggestions to what i can add to the collection.

I'd say next on my list would be to get an original Gameboy Color and mod it
