Last question before I pull the trigger...Mini 14 or Mini 30

Got everything else sorted, its down to these two guys. Thanks to everyone who has been helpin me along the way.

Ok so yeah so 14 or 30. I dont do any hunting, but this would be my "survival rifle" for when I think I might have multiple problems showing up. I have a 1895 trapper in 45-70 for if one BIG problem shows up.

So which one am I bringing home guys?

Here to stir the pot again - Bullpup edition!

Was just looking at the DP-12 and did some research into its legality. Research = me asking Chat GPT if this firearm is legal hehe.

This would be quite interesting if true, and would open up a lot of cool bullpups

Magazine Capacity Limits (ESSB 5078):

  • Washington law limits ammunition feeding devices to a 10-round capacity.
  • The DP-12 uses two separate, independent 7-round tubular magazines mounted side-by-side (total onboard capacity of 14 rounds).
  • Under standard legal interpretations, each magazine tube is evaluated as an individual feeding device containing 7 rounds, which keeps each tube under the 10-round maximum.

alright. f*ck. I'll do it.

I've avoided this for the past few years which Is really unlike me. I'm usually an early adopter of tech, but something about AI seemed so..slimey, and tbf it still does. but I don't wanna be get off my lawn guy any more than I already (clearly) am.

so what's the methodology here. the first thing I used to do when training a new person was send them a template for what a good bug was, with explanations if the various parts to etc. Does anything like that exist for prompting LLMs?
