Question about artist’s digital music

Recently discovered compositions by Carol Kappus. Lovely music.

Wondering if anyone has used her digital downloads. The music written seems to be missing some basic elements such as when chords are rolled, bits of arpeggiated runs that can be heard in the sample recordings but are not written down. Is there a specific way (or some information) on how to approach her music to match the sample recordings?

What’s the optimum number of pieces to be practicing at any one time?

Depending on your playing level and length/difficulty of the pieces, how many pieces to you work on at any one time?

Do you learn all your pieces to performance level or do you simply move on to the next piece to keep it fresh and avoid potential burn out?

Sight-reading recommendations

Greetings! I’m working on my sight-reading and I’m looking for any music material harpists/harpers here could recommend for an intermediate player reading at grades 1 & 2.

I have been sight-reading books like Betty Paret First Harp Book, Salzedo Tiny Tales, Andres easy études, Hasselmans/Grandjany very-very easy pieces, and some baroque, renaissance, Celtic, and contemporary beginner stuff.

The problem is that I don’t have the budget to purchase/download music or books that I will only use once. I’m looking for music recommendations, anything that you have found useful for yourself or for your students. Thanks in advance.
