Need genuine advice, please help me in this dilemma.
I have converted only IMT Nagpur till now.
Current status:
- IIM Kashipur MBA-BA waitlist: 76
- IIM Vizag waitlist: 243 after first movement (before it was 397)
- IIM Jammu / Bodh Gaya / Sirmaur: waitlisted
- Category: NC-OBC, Non-Engineer Female (NEF)
The issue is financial. I already paid the seat booking amount for IIM Bodh Gaya, and now IMT Nagpur is asking for around 50K immediately and later around 3 lakh fee. I cannot afford to block seats in multiple colleges at the same time.
Also, no one in my family is from this background, so I am handling all these decisions alone. I genuinely have a lot of hope for IIM Vizag, which is making this decision even more difficult emotionally and financially.
I am confused whether:
- I should pay IMT Nagpur fee to stay safe, or
- Wait for IIM Kashipur BA / IIM Vizag results.
Can seniors or people tracking waitlist movements please guide me honestly:
- Is Kashipur BA at WL 76 realistically convertible for NC-OBC?
- Is IIM Vizag WL 243 after first movement still possible?
- What would you do in my situation financially?
Please share advice or past year trends. I am really stressed about making the wrong decision.
