My brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia 10 years ago. We take him to the psychiatrist every two weeks and believed he was taking his medication regularly. However, we recently discovered he has been skipping it.

He refuses to take medication in front of us and immediately goes to the restroom whenever we ask him to take it.

We're worried about another relapse. Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you handle medication refusal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As my start date is approaching, I'm just looking for options whether I can do volunteer work related to my major.
