How can we achieve nether portal exploit with latest version of minecraft also in a multiplayer server?

I have been seeing these portal glitches for a long time but could not find any video or post explaining these glitches. I have searched a lot about these but find out nothing that can help me achieving this glitch. Is it still possible to achieve these glitches (I am hopping we can)? And how we can make this exploited portals?

A fact that you can consider is that I have seen people using Item frames behind the portal to achieve these results. Also mostly facing north towards negative Z.
