Why isn’t labor vouchers not seen in Marxist Leninist circles?
reddit.com*I am a baby leftist so apologies if this comes out uneducated or half baked I’m not always that good with wording*
Both the philosophy of Ted Kaczynski and of Karl Marx both target a similar issue. The source and solution to the material conditions of modern society. And both make sense to some degree. However they both contradict eachother and as is obvious to anyone who has read the works of the Unabomber he is STAUNCHLY ANTI COMMUNIST. I myself am a communist as mentioned but I want to understand how a Marxist may respond to the critiques of the industrial society.
In Marxism to my understanding the issue with modern society is capitalism and class struggle. The inherent contradictions within capitalism and the inhumane treatment of the workers and the alienation from their labor.
In Ted’s thought it isn’t capital in modern society which is the cause for the suffering in society but rather the industrial society which has reworked human society unnaturally, has destabilized the ecosystem, and has broken the human reward system.
Now I feel Ted kacznski failed to consider the economic roots that push industrialization to devalue any other form of care for society through the seeking of surplus value. However I do see his critique of how the industrial society makes a disconnect of the human reward system making life feel meaningless and unfulfilling. However I am aware that industrialization is essential for a communist society so how as a communist do you feel to respond to these critiques
Thanks!
