Sheldon doesn't have a spot in the Cal Tech cafeteria?!

He's got his main spot at home, obviously. He claimed a 'spot' when he went to jail. He even said, "You're in my spot." when he corners President Sebert (sp?) in the bathroom.

However, I believe we see him sit in all four chairs at some point or another when they guys are eating in the cafeteria. And, to take it a step further.. they don't even sit at the exact same table every time.

Just a casual observation.

What's wrong with this picture?

This is a promotional image used as a thumbnail on several sites. I never thought much of it, until I really looked... anyone else see the discrepancy?

Fifth sternotomy - Aortic Valve Replacement

I am writing on behalf of my sister-in-law's father, to be clear.

He is 72 years old. He got his first AV in 1974 with a porcine valve. Since then, he's had 3 more, making this upcoming (and life-dependent) fifth surgery critical and important.

We are located in Louisiana, however, they are willing and ready to drive anywhere needed. The decision has been narrowed down to whom appears to be the top two cardiologists in this field "on the planet," Dr. Woo of Stanford, and Dr. Bavaria of Penn.

This is what I've put into 5 different LLMs, and they all seem to give the 'tiebreak' to Dr. Bavaria but, as a Redditor, I wanted to post here and get any more thoughts, suggestions that any of you could provide:

I need to compare, evaluate, and decide between two cardiologists for Carl, (The grandfather mentioned in our last chat.) He is in critical need of a surgery for full mechanical aortic valve replacement, with cusps repairs.. A few details to consider:

  1. He is 72
  2. This will be the FIFTH time he will be 'opened up,' which is rather rare.. as most patients die before they even get to the fourth.
  3. He is on his 2nd aortic valve, the first was a pig's valve in 1974.
  4. He's been on warfarin for 50 years.
  5. He also has a large aortic aneurysm.

The two doctors I am comparing are:

  1. Joseph E. Bavaria, M.D., FACS, FRCS, out of Philadelphia.
  2. Joseph Woo, MD, FACS, FACC, FAHA, out of Stanford, California.

Page for Bavaria: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Bavaria](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Bavaria)

- Would prefer a better reference than Wikipedia.

Page for Woo: [https://profiles.stanford.edu/joseph-woo?tab=bio](https://profiles.stanford.edu/joseph-woo?tab=bio)

- Note the extra tabs of information.

What do you think? If there's any more questions, I will do my best to answer, but I've given you basically all that I know at this time.

I look forward to responses!

The Tom Green Farm - A delightful surprise

So, back in the day, when Freddy Got Fingered came out etc.. I just didn't see the allure of Tom Green. Kind of an Andy Dick persona, to me. Really wrote him off pretty much immediately. I came across his new show The Tom Green Farm and really just threw a flyer to check it out... and I'm glad I did. He's really come down to Earth on his farm, his relationships with his mule and horses, mom and dad.. the wife.. just simply wasn't what I was expecting.

I think it speaks to how getting out of chaos and such and moving to a calmer life can really help people, something I've done recently myself.

Anyway.. just wanted to give a shout out to it, because there might be others who thought like I did and I think people would actually enjoy it. First episode is Tony Hawk!
