I started working in Unreal Engine in 2017, and spent part of lockdown learning how to make a game. This is a screenshot from one of the character selection menu sequences (after you select a character). It was intended to be a co-op PvE game like Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance on PS2 that I could play with my younger brother cross-country, but I never got the networking aspects right. Enjoy the what-if.

14 years old, diagnosed with congestive heart failure in November. He went terminal last night. Every day together has been a blessing. Intelligent, patient, great with kids, loves steak. Everyone who meets him loves this grumpy old man.

I bought this laptop to be remote support for my primary desktop. Mostly 3D modeling, sculpting, painting, and rendering, and CAD/CAM. Obviously I will game a little but this is primarily a mobile work device.

Before I start loading it with software and settings, I’m looking for insight on customizations or changes you all have found helpful so I can make those changes while the computer is a blank slate. For instance, I know ACC crashes Chitubox resin slicer and has some sort of issue with BambuLabs FDM slicer.

I will be printing some foldable legs from PPS-CF for extra cooling clearance as my roommate’s m15 is one hot sumbitch while under load.

I will eventually take advantage of the send m2 port.
