💥 A dental office that is proactive every week in local Facebook Groups + Nextdoor could realistically generate 3–8+ new patients per month without spending a dollar on ads.
Nextdoor is especially overlooked: 79% of users say a neighbor recommendation has influenced them to visit or use a local business and 81% say they take action on a neighbor recommendation within days.
The move is simple: answer local dental questions, participate like an actual neighbor, share useful information and let patients recommend the office.
Most offices are fighting over paid clicks while free local attention is sitting right in front of them.

Auto insurance MedPay/PIP may be one of dentistry’s biggest missed opportunities.
<5% of dental offices actively use it.
A single accident case can mean $2k–$10k+ in treatment (exams, X-rays, RCTs, crowns, extractions, implants & more) It can cover essentially any necessary dental treatment caused by the accident, subject to the policy limits…but those limits are in the 10k-100k range.
And it’s EASY. Verify the MedPay/PIP coverage the patient gives, confirm the injury is accident-related, document it and submit the claim to the auto carrier and you get paid.
When coverage is verified upfront (easy to do) and the treatment is clearly tied to the accident, you eliminate 80%+ of the typical PPO style billing friction. No dental fee schedules, no “frequency limitation” nonsense, there’s a defined pool of auto insurance money specifically there to pay for accident related care.

😐 Do you dismiss rude patients? I proudly do and you should too.
Rude patients don’t just create headaches. They can damage your team’s morale, performance and retention.
Research on workplace incivility found:
78% said their commitment to their workplace declined.
66% said their performance declined.
38% intentionally decreased the quality of their work.
12% actually left their job because of the disrespect.
Think about that before you keep a toxic patient around because you’re afraid to lose the production.
My rule is simple:
If you’re rude, we tell you.
If you continue being rude, you’re out. No exceptions.
I don’t care what you have going on in your personal life. You do not have the right to disrespect me or my staff because you’re having a bad day.
I would rather lose one rude patient than risk losing a great employee or watching an entire team’s morale drop.
Protect your staff. Protect the culture. Protect your sanity.
This isn’t harsh. It’s leadership.

I was on a call with a client recently, and they shared a massive win that perfectly highlights where the future of dental marketing is heading. They mentioned that almost immediately after we took over their SEO, they didn’t just see a bump in traditional search traffic, they started getting new patients who explicitly said they found the practice through ChatGPT.
If you think AI is just a tool for writing emails or drafting social media posts, you are missing out on a massive acquisition channel. Patients are actively using Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT as personalized search engines to find the absolute best local healthcare providers.
But when a patient asks ChatGPT for a dentist, how does it know to recommend your practice over the one down the street?
Getting our client ranked wasn’t an accident. It came down to three crucial ranking factors that 99% of practices are completely ignoring.
There’s a misconception that AI operates in a vacuum, pulling answers out of thin air. In reality, all LLMs are incredibly hungry for structured, authoritative data. They are trained on the internet and when they look for real time recommendations, they heavily rely on traditional, high quality SEO measures.
If your dental practice has a slow website, lacks authoritative content about your specific services or has broken local directory listings, ChatGPT simply won’t see you as a trusted source. When your website clearly signals to search engines that you are the premier authority for Invisalign or dental implants in your city, the AI takes note and passes that recommendation directly to the user.
Here is the secret engine behind ChatGPT that most marketing agencies don’t even know about: If you want to rank on ChatGPT, you must optimize for Bing.
Why? Because early on, Microsoft made a massive, multi-billion-dollar investment in OpenAI (the creators of ChatGPT). Because of this deep structural partnership, ChatGPT’s browsing capabilities and real-time local data retrieval are heavily powered by Bing’s search index.
While every dentist has spent the last decade obsessing exclusively over their Google Business Profile, the smart money is quietly hijacking the top spots by fully optimizing their Bing Places for Business profiles. When a prospective patient opens ChatGPT and asks for the “best cosmetic dentist near me,” the AI leans heavily on Bing’s local search algorithms to generate its answer.
AI models are designed to give the user the safest, most reliable answer possible. To figure out who the “best” dentist actually is, ChatGPT doesn’t just read your website, it scrapes the web for public consensus.
This means the AI is actively aggregating your Google and Yelp reviews to calculate your reputation. If your Yelp profile is sitting at 2.5 stars because of a few angry patients from five years ago or if your Google reviews have stagnated, ChatGPT will filter you out completely. The AI cross-references review volume, average star rating, and the actual text of the reviews to decide if you are worth recommending.
How to AI-Proof Your Practice
Getting recommended by AI isn’t about tricking an algorithm; it’s about feeding it exactly what it wants.
Here is how you capture these high intent patients:
Treat Bing Like Gold: Claim, verify and completely optimize your Bing Places profile immediately.
Dominate Google & Yelp: Implement a system to aggressively generate positive reviews on both platforms. The AI needs to see overwhelming proof that you are the best in town.
Double Down on Technical SEO: Ensure your site is blazingly fast and easy for LLMs to crawl and parse.
Patients are already changing how they search. The practices that optimize for these AI models today are going to capture a massive, uncontested share of the market tomorrow.

The Challenge: Overcoming the "Emergency" Brand Hurdle
On Call Dental Urgent Care (https://www.oncalldentalurgentcare.com/) faced a unique branding paradox. With a name that heavily implies urgent, clinical, and emergency-based treatment, the practice naturally attracted patients in pain. Although it is an urgent care dental center, they see general patients as well. More importantly, Dr. Michael Greding had his sights set on scaling highly profitable cosmetic dentistry—specifically porcelain veneer cases.
The hurdle was deeply psychological: How do you convince a general patient seeking routine care, or someone wanting a $15,000+ smile makeover, to book a consultation at an "urgent care" center?
The answer wasn't a rebrand. It was a complete overhaul of the practice's digital ecosystem, leveraging Trust Signals, Social Proof, Strategic Offers, and Operational Friction to bridge the gap between an emergency moniker and total cosmetic authority.
Step 1: Engineering "Trust Signals" via Google & Yelp Reviews
In cosmetic dentistry, the product is confidence.
We didn't just need more reviews; we needed strategic reviews.
Keyword Seeding for SEO: We implemented a system to encourage both general and cosmetic patients to use specific keywords in their Google and Yelp reviews (e.g., "porcelain veneers," "smile makeover," "general dentistry"). This not only boosted local organic search rankings for these highly competitive terms but also completely shifted the narrative of the practice's digital footprint away from being strictly an emergency clinic.
Visual Proof: A review that says "I love my new teeth" is good. A review with a photo of a stunning new smile is a conversion engine. We prioritized generating reviews featuring patient photos to provide immediate visual validation.
Step 2: Amplifying Social Proof & Ad Efficiency
The global cosmetic dentistry market crossed $31.31 billion in 2026, with an estimated 600,000 Americans now receiving veneers annually. Because the average veneer case involves 8 to 10 teeth and costs between $10,000 and $25,000, patients are highly selective.
When it came to our paid advertising strategy, there wasn't anything uniquely complicated we had to do on our end regarding the actual setup, platform targeting, or campaign mechanics. The core ad setup is the exact same across the board. The ads simply utilized patient testimonials and striking before-and-after photos. What actuallyamplified the ads and made them wildly effective was the surrounding social proof ecosystem:
The Ad-to-Profile Funnel: When potential patients saw our top-of-funnel ads, their first instinct was to vet the doctor. Dr. Greding already had social proof for his cosmetic work, but we pushed the gas pedal. By scaling up the volume and ensuring there was a consistent, heavy flow of dynamic before-and-afters, patient testimonials, and behind-the-scenes expertise on his Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/dr.michael.greding), we created a powerful social proof loop.
Authority Building: Instead of seeing an "urgent care dentist," the Instagram presence positioned Dr. Greding as an elite cosmetic architect. The ads captured attention, but the consistent flood of social proof on his profile closed the trust gap and drove the conversion.
Step 3: Strategic Offers & The "New Doctor" Reality Check
To get people off the fence, we ran specific ad promotions offering 10% to 15% OFF for cosmetic work.
Many high-end practices balk at discounting premium services, but the math is undeniable. For a patient sitting on the fence, saving $1,000 to $2,000 on a $20,000 cosmetic case is the ultimate driver that pushes them to book. We framed it as an opportunity cost: offering a 10% discount is the difference between starting treatment and keeping $18,000 in revenue, versus letting that case walk out the door and getting $0.
A Note for Young Doctors: If you are a young dentist, or simply a practitioner with few cosmetic cases under your belt, you will have to discount your work to get cases and build a portfolio. You cannot logically expect to charge the peak market rate of $2,000 per veneer when you have nothing to show for your work, while the veteran dentist down the street charges the same $2,000 but has an extensive portfolio and hundreds of five-star reviews backing them up. Discount early, build the portfolio, gather the social proof, and then raise your prices.
Step 4: The Long Game (Nurturing the $20,000 Patient)
Dr. Greding has been in the business for a while and understands a fundamental truth that many young doctors miss: marketing is a process that requires patience.
When you turn on cosmetic ads, you will likely not get a cosmetic patient on Day 1, or even Week 1. However, consistently running ads and utilizing retargeting campaigns creates a compounding effect that begins to snowball after 1 month, 3 months, and beyond.
We had to think like a patient. Most people do not have millions of dollars in liquid cash at their disposal. A $20,000 case is a massive financial investment, and a patient may not be financially ready to pull the trigger until 6 or 12 months after they first saw your ad. Furthermore, initiating a conversation about a $20,000 loan or payment plan is incredibly intimidating for the patient.
By constantly running ads and retargeting these individuals, we kept Dr. Greding top-of-mind. The strategy is to bring them into the practice for a standard check-up or cleaning, which allows the hygienist to naturally bring up the cosmetic treatment 6 months down the line when the patient is finally ready and comfortable.
Step 5: Operational Friction (The Power of the Deposit)
Generating cosmetic leads is only half the battle; getting them to show up and buy is where most practices fail. We implemented a counter-intuitive strategy: we added friction.
Upfront Deposits: We required deposits to secure a cosmetic consultation. While this decreased the total number of leads booked, it drastically increased the quality of the individuals walking through the door. If a patient is willing to put down a deposit, they are mentally prepared to discuss 5-figure financial investments.
Team Alignment & Follow-Up: We worked with the front desk to ensure follow-ups were rapid and on-point. The team was trained specifically on how to navigate cosmetic consultations, seamlessly bridging the gap between the clinical outcome and the financial options available to the patient.
The Result & Universal Blueprint
By layering keyword-rich reviews, visual social proof, strategic financial promotions, long-term retargeting, and high-intent operational funnels, On Call Dental Urgent Care successfully bypassed the limitations of its "urgent care" name.
The trust signals did the heavy lifting, amplifying the efficiency of the paid ads and allowing Dr. Greding to scale his cosmetic veneer and general patient cases predictably. This exact same trust-based, long-nurture blueprint can be applied seamlessly to other high-ticket procedures, including clear aligners and full-arch dental implants.

I have been working on this for months because I hate seeing dentists get scammed by other dentists and non dentists with crappy and overpriced smile generators
We are cheaper than all of our competitors because we want all dentists to be able to use it to increase their case acceptance, not just the "cosmetic dentists"
-$30,000 All on X was started because of it
-Dentists that have been testing it are doing 2-3x more cosmetic cases a month
The first 25 people will get 25% OFF for life when they use code DCOFFER

If you want more cosmetic/veneer cases you need to understand that you need to have social proof behind it.
Cases on social media and patient testimonials.
Google + Yelp reviews stating smile makeovers, cosmetic cases, veneers etc.
Your team also has to be able to convert and have financial conversations with patients.
If you have that, turning on ads will start to bring the right type of patient that can afford that.
If you don’t, it is a process and you have to understand that we have to build the social proof and portfolio that is needed to convert the ads.
🚨Picture this….if you have terrible reviews for your practice, do you really think that people will want to go see you even though you are running ads? No, you have to clean up the perception first to make the ads effective.

I love them and I believe they are the fast track to solving sleep apnea.
70-80% of sleep apnea is caused by being overweight. The reality is that most people won’t lose the weight themselves and need help.
I used to hate GLP1s but the more I learned about them the more convinced I became that this can help solve the sleep issue for our patients.
What are your thoughts?

Genuinely curious what many of you are seeing.
I have many clients all throughout the country and most of ours are not complaining when compared to dentists who don’t work with us.
This isn’t me selling anything, but I want to get a pulse on how you overcome this, because I also speak on the phone with many dentists who need marketing for this exact reason.
I believe financing is key. There are many options to help patients overcome much of this.

Dentists are being led off a cliff by social media "brand managers" who tell them to post dumb, fluffy content just for the sake of "engagement."
Nobody cares about your clinic's lip-sync videos, holiday graphics, or generic toothbrush stock photos. Likes and views from 14-year-olds on TikTok do not pay your overhead.
There are only TWO types of content a dentist should care about posting:
Why? Because healthcare is high-stakes and people are anxious. You need to trigger an emotional response. Before-and-afters and raw patient stories are the highest-converting trust content in existence.
Here is the data that proves it:
Emotion Drives Action: People don't buy a root canal or veneers; they buy their confidence and self-esteem back. According to the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), marketing campaigns driven purely by emotion perform twice as well (31% vs 16%) as rational, fact-based ones. Seeing a dramatic before-and-after triggers that visceral "I want that" emotional response instantly.
Trust Closes the Deal: A clever meme doesn't make someone trust you with a drill in their mouth. Social proof does. Studies show 92% of consumers rely on testimonials and reviews to choose local businesses. More importantly, featuring real patient testimonials alongside your services has been shown to increase conversion rates by up to 34%.
A before-and-after photo proves you have the skill. A testimonial proves you treat people right.
Fire the agency telling you to do a dance challenge. Start documenting your clinical wins, get your happiest patients on camera and watch your chairs fill up.

🚨 Review signals account for roughly 20% of Google’s local SEO ranking factors.
When patients naturally or intently mention because you tell them to about treatments like dental implants, veneers, Invisalign, emergency dentistry, or same day crowns in their Google or Yelp reviews, Google gains stronger signals about what your practice is relevant for, increasing your chances of appearing for those and closely related searches. Bonus…ChatGPT searches as well.
But that’s only the algorithmic side.
The bigger impact can’t be measured by Google’s algorithm alone.
Someone spending $5,000–$20,000 on veneers or implants will often read 10, 20 or even 50 reviews before making a decision.
Every authentic mention of those procedures becomes another piece of social proof. That’s why two practices with the same star rating can have dramatically different conversion rates because one has reviews that actually answer the patient’s question before they ever call.
By Dr. Patrick Anghel, DDS (Pat.the.Dentist)
When it comes to dental marketing, the immediate instinct for most practice owners is to focus entirely on driving more leads. We pour budget into keyword-loaded search ads, optimize highly targeted Instagram campaigns, and obsess over bringing fresh faces through the door. But if you are only looking outward at your ad spend, you are ignoring the most critical chokepoint in your entire patient acquisition system: your front desk.
A well-trained front desk team is one of the most lucrative, high converting assets a dental practice can deploy. It maximizes your marketing dollars, yields significantly faster growth, and ensures that the leads you pay for actually make it into the chair.
The Proof is in the Data
The data on front desk performance is incredibly compelling, proving that phone skills are just as essential as clinical skills for practice health. A top-performing (A-player) front desk team member can book 80–90% of qualified new patient calls. In stark contrast, an average (B-player) team member typically books only 55–65% of those exact same calls.
That 25–30% gap is where your practice is bleeding revenue. Closing that gap means the exact same marketing budget can produce up to 40–60% more new patients. You can achieve this massive leap in growth without spending another dollar on ads.
Why Appointment Conversion is a Dental Marketing Gold Mine
Relying on a highly trained administrative team isn’t just a best practice; appointment conversion is one of the highest-leverage operational metrics in a dental practice. Here is why it consistently outperforms simply increasing your marketing budget
Zero Additional Acquisition Cost: You have already paid to make the phone ring. Converting a higher percentage of those inbound calls requires zero extra ad spend, drastically lowering your overall Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) while boosting profitability.
Maximized Campaign ROI: Even the most perfectly optimized digital campaigns will fail to show a return on investment if the team answering the phone cannot confidently guide the caller to schedule. High conversion rates ensure your marketing efforts actually translate to revenue.
First Impressions Matter: Patients are evaluating your practice from the moment you pick up the phone. A frictionless, confident booking experience builds immediate trust, significantly lowering the chance of a no-show.
How to Execute a High-Converting Front Desk Strategy
To capture that surge in new patients, you need to step away from assuming the phone is being handled correctly and start leveraging training and accountability.
Track Your True Conversion Rate: You cannot manage what you do not measure. Listen to recorded calls and track the exact percentage of qualified leads that end up on the schedule. Do not rely on "gut feelings" about how the front desk is doing.
**Implement Structured Call Frameworks:**Avoid leaving the conversation up to chance. Equip your team with proven frameworks to handle common objections, like "Do you take my insurance?" or "How much does a crown cost?", so they can pivot the conversation back to booking the appointment.
Audit Your Follow-Up: If a patient calls but isn't ready to book, ensure your team has a system in place to capture their information and follow up later via text or email.
Incentivize A-Player Performance: If an A-player can generate 40–60% more new patients from the same budget, they are worth their weight in gold. Reward high conversion rates and invest heavily in training for your B-players to close the gap.
Stop Ignoring Your Biggest Chokepoint
Your communication infrastructure is just as important as your clinical technology. By focusing on how effectively your team converts inbound interest into scheduled appointments, you aren’t just filling chairs, you are maximizing the lifetime value of every lead your practice generates.
Audit your phone calls, train your team, and watch your schedule fill up without touching your ad budget.
By Dr. Patrick Anghel, DDS (Pat the Dentist)
When it comes to dental communication, the immediate instinct for most practice owners is to pick up the phone. We hire more front desk staff, obsess over phone training, and spend hours leaving voicemails that no one ever returns. But if you are only relying on calls, you are ignoring how modern consumers actually want to communicate.
A well-executed two-way text messaging strategy is one of the most lucrative, high-converting systems a dental practice can deploy. It frees up your phone lines, yields significantly faster responses, and connects with patients in a way that respects their time and habits.
The Proof is in the Data
The data on patient communication is incredibly compelling, proving that proactive SMS outreach is essential for practice health. Text messages boast a staggering 98% open rate, with 95% of those messages being read within the first three minutes. Comparatively, the average dental practice misses 20% to 35% of incoming phone calls during business hours, and calling patients back to leave a voicemail only results in a 40% to 50% success rate.
When practices implement automated SMS reminders, data shows they can reduce no-show rates by 30% to 50%. On top of that, nearly 80% of dental patients outright prefer text or email reminders over a phone call from the practice. Whether it is an appointment reminder, a scheduling link, or a quick follow-up, getting a text in front of a patient dramatically increases the likelihood they will engage, in fact, the average SMS response rate in healthcare sits at a massive 53%, compared to a fraction of that for email or calls.
Why Texting is a Dental Communication Gold Mine
Relying on text messaging isn’t just a best practice; it’s a foundational pillar of sustainable practice efficiency. Here is why it consistently outperforms phone calls:
Zero Hold Times: Phone data shows that caller abandonment accelerates rapidly when patients are put on hold for between 60 seconds and 3 minutes. Texting is asynchronous, meaning patients can reply at their convenience without waiting on hold, entirely removing the friction of scheduling.
Unmatched Efficiency: Your front desk can only handle one phone call at a time, but they can manage dozens of text conversations simultaneously. Moving routine confirmations and general inquiries to SMS frees up your team to provide better in-office hospitality.
Higher Conversion Rates: Patients are busy. A phone call in the middle of the workday is an interruption that goes to voicemail. A text message with a direct link to book an appointment allows them to convert instantly without disrupting their day.
Built-in Documentation: Phone calls rely on your staff taking accurate notes. Text conversations create an automatic, written record of patient communication that helps with continuity of care and compliance.
How to Execute a High-Converting Text Strategy
To capture that surge in patient responsiveness, you need to step away from manual dialing and leverage automated workflows.
Use Two-Way Texting: Don’t just blast out one-way messages. Allow patients to text back “Running 10 minutes late” or ask quick questions. This simple feature drastically improves patient satisfaction and prevents unnecessary gaps in the schedule.
Keep the Messaging Simple: Avoid overly formal or lengthy paragraphs. Keep it friendly, brief, and action-oriented. (e.g., “Hi [Name], Dr. Anghel has a last-minute opening tomorrow at 2 PM for a cleaning. Tap here to grab your spot!”)
Remove the Friction: Your call to action (CTA) must link directly to an online scheduling portal or intake form. If a patient receives a text but still has to call the office to book, your conversion rate will plummet.
Respect Patient Preferences: While SMS should be your default for routine scheduling and reminders, always keep the phone lines open for complex billing issues or clinical concerns, where patients still highly value a live conversation.
Stop Ignoring How Your Patients Want to Connect
Your communication infrastructure is just as important as your clinical technology. By integrating automated, two-way text messaging into your broader dental marketing and operations strategy, you aren’t just saving time, you are meeting patients exactly where they are.
Set up the automation, shift routine communications to text, and watch your schedule fill up and your front desk stress melt away.

Although they stay in place, nobody cares after 30 days.
Studies show that 73% of consumers completely ignore reviews older than one month.
If your feedback isn’t recent, prospective patients immediately lose trust.
By Dr. Patrick Anghel, DDS (pat.the.dentist)
You just hit 500 Google Reviews. Your practice boasts a pristine 4.9-star average. You think you’ve won local SEO, until a brand-new clinic down the street with only 42 reviews outranks you in under 30 days.
How? Because your last review is 6 weeks old, and in Google’s eyes, your practice has flatlined. Welcome to the era of review velocity.
If you are only looking at your total review count, you are ignoring a massive algorithmic shift. Having hundreds of 5-star ratings means absolutely nothing if you aren't generating new feedback constantly.
The Algorithm Prioritizes the Present
Google’s Local Pack algorithm acts like a heartbeat monitor for your business. It doesn't care who dominated the market in 2024; it cares who is actively satisfying patients today. If a massive practice has 600 reviews but hasn't received a new one in 45 days, Google assumes the business is stagnant or losing its edge.
Meanwhile, a newer practice pulling in just 3 fresh reviews a week signals ongoing relevance. Google rewards that 12-review-a-month consistency by pushing them straight to the top of the search results.
Why Velocity Dominates Volume
Generating consistent reviews isn't a vanity metric, it is a foundational pillar of practice growth:
The 30-Day Expiration Date: Studies show that 73% of consumers completely ignore reviews older than one month. If your feedback isn't recent, prospective patients immediately lose trust.
Negative Review Shielding: If you only get 10 reviews a year, a single 1-star rating drops your overall average by 10%. High review velocity (e.g., 5+ a week) mathematically buries a bad review in a matter of days.
SEO Dominance: Fresh user-generated content is a top local ranking factor. Consistent reviews boost your organic visibility up to 15% faster than stagnant, legacy profiles.
By Dr. Patrick Anghel, DDS (Pat the Dentist)
The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects approximately 15,300 hygienist openings annually through 2034.
Over the next five years, that represents roughly 76,500 positions that will need to be filled, although many are replacement openings caused by retirement, career changes and clinicians leaving the workforce, not 76,500 additional jobs.
This is bad bad news
Dentists, would you use one often if the smiles came out perfect and you can show the patient how they would look like with a new smile if you’re trying to close a cosmetic case or All on X?
When it comes to dental marketing, the immediate instinct for most practice owners and agencies is to obsess over Google Ads and high-budget Meta campaigns. We pour thousands of dollars into fighting for the top spot on Google, completely ignoring the lower-friction opportunities right under our noses. But if you are only looking at the biggest search engine, you are walking right past a massive revenue stream that takes literally five minutes to unlock: your Bing profile.
A well-executed foundational setup is one of the most lucrative, high-intent strategies a dental practice can deploy. It requires zero ad spend, captures an often wealthier demographic, and fills your schedule with patients actively searching for a dentist right now.
The Math Behind a 5-Minute Fix
The financial impact of this simple correction is incredibly compelling. A five-minute Bing profile fix can generate 1 to 3 additional new patients per month.
Even if we look at a conservative estimate of just 2 new patients per month, that is 24 new patients per year. At a baseline value of $1,000 per patient, that represents $24,000 in additional annual production from one simple, one-time correction.
This is exactly what most “marketing companies” miss. They focus exclusively on flashy, high-spend campaigns to justify their retainers, while completely ignoring the small, foundational fixes that take minutes but compound massively over time. We know this for a fact because we audit the actual data behind the accounts they manage, and the basics are almost always broken.
Why Foundational Fixes Are a Marketing Gold Mine
Fixing your Bing profile isn't just about one search engine; it’s proof that a foundational approach to dental marketing consistently outperforms throwing money at broken systems. Here is why getting the basics right changes your trajectory:
Zero Additional Ad Spend: Adding 5 to 15 new patients per month (60 to 180 per year) across five similar foundational fixes means growing your practice without increasing your marketing budget by a single dollar.
Compounding ROI: These aren't one-off campaigns that stop working the second you turn off your credit card. Once your profile is optimized, it works in the background 24/7.
Lower Competition, Higher Intent: While every other dentist in your zip code is bleeding money on Google, Bing users (who skew older and often have higher disposable incomes) are actively looking for a provider, with almost zero local competition fighting for their attention.
Immediate Schedule Filler: High-intent searchers on alternative platforms are usually looking to book right away, bringing immediate production into your operatory.
How to Execute This Foundational Fix
To capture this hidden patient volume, you need to step away from the ad manager for a moment and secure your digital real estate.
Claim and Verify Bing Places for Business: Just like your Google Business Profile, Bing has its own local directory. Claim your practice, verify the address, and ensure your hours, website, and phone number are perfectly accurate.
Sync with Google: Microsoft makes this incredibly easy. Bing allows you to instantly sync your fully optimized Google Business Profile directly to their platform, making this a literal one-click, five-minute fix.
Implement Tracking: Don't just guess if it's working. Set up a specific tracking number and plug it into your CRM. You will be shocked when you see high-value patients actually calling from a source your previous agency completely ignored.
Audit the Rest of Your Foundation: Don't stop at Bing. Check Apple Maps, Yelp, and Healthgrades. Ensure your practice name, address, and phone number are identical across every single platform to signal absolute authority to search engines.
