new collector needing advice

hi all! im a fairly new collector looking for ways to get more involved in the hobby

i grew up reading and watching dragon ball in the 90s but kinda fell out of love when super ended. recently discovered how insanely sick the cards are and started collecting them. ive been trying to get my hands on packs/booster boxes in my area but its been so hard because i assume there isnt much of a demand for dragon ball in my area. would love to hear some insights as to where yall buy/trade/sell your cards besides tcgplayer. would love to support local shops or trade with people online (reddit/facebook/instagram)

i also want to learn how to play the game but there also doesnt seem to be much of a player base here as well. would love to hear any advice/pointers as to where i can learn how to play. would love to attend an in person event one day :)

english lot | japanese lot pls ignore the stickers lol

i have all the cards listed here with tcgplayer market values: english lot | japanese lot

  • the english lot comes out to $446.97. asking for $360, which is about 80%

  • the japanese lot comes out to $261.37. asking for $196, which is about 75%

  • take both for $500 shipped

i do prefer paypal, but may consider trades for a single/few cards/slabs at 90%. will be shipped in a box with tracking. not currently looking to split at the moment for sake of ease :) closeups can be provided upon request! posting this late at night, so give me about a day for close ups
