MSc Health Economics in Germany — how realistic are internships and a long-term career in this field?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently pursuing an MSc in International Health Economics & Pharmacoeconomics in Germany, after completing a PharmD in India.
I’m looking for a Werkstudent/internship in areas like Health Economics, HEOR, HTA, Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, or Pharmacoeconomics.
I’d love some honest advice from people working in this field in Germany:
How difficult is it for an international graduate to get the first relevant internship/Werkstudent role?
How important is German? Is B1/B2 enough, or is C1 usually expected?
Which skills should I prioritize — Excel, R, cost-effectiveness modelling, Markov models, systematic reviews, IQWiG/G-BA/AMNOG?
Which companies/organisations are worth targeting?
What does the career progression and salary realistically look like after graduation?
I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who started their Health Economics/HTA/Market Access career in Germany as international graduates.
Thanks!

Title: Stuck in Germany: Vi SIM stopped working, no linked email, locked out of WhatsApp & Banking. Need advice on offline NRI SIM replacement!

Hi everyone,

I’m an Indian student currently in Germany and I’m facing a major issue with my Vi (Vodafone Idea) Indian SIM card.

Here is what happened:

SIM Issue: My physical Vi SIM suddenly stopped registering on local roaming networks (shows "No Service").

No Linked Email / No OTP: I do not have an email address linked to my Vi mobile number. Because the SIM is dead, I cannot receive SMS OTPs to log into the Vi App or process an automated replacement.

WhatsApp & Banking Locked: I tried switching to a new phone and got logged out of WhatsApp on both devices. Because I can't receive SMS OTPs, I can't log back into WhatsApp or access my Indian bank accounts. (My local Android WhatsApp backup is safe on my phone storage, but I need the SMS OTP to restore it).

The Problem:

When my parents visited a local Vi store in India, the executives told them they couldn't issue a duplicate SIM because there's no linked email ID to send an automated verification link.

My Questions:

Has anyone successfully gotten a duplicate Vi SIM issued to a family member via offline manual NRI verification (using an Authorization Letter, Passport/Aadhaar scans, and a live Video Call)?

Which escalation channel works best for Vi—emailing the Nodal/Appellate Officer or going directly to a flagship/corporate store?

Are there specific terms or procedures my parents should ask for at the store manager level to bypass the automated portal check?

Any advice from fellow NRIs/students who have dealt with this exact loop would be greatly appreciated!
