Yeah. It Feels Weird

You know what's a weird feeling? Having one of the most productive days you've ever had and it still feeling like you've been lazy.

Today, I have:

  1. Three clients under live security monitoring
  2. Configured two WHM/CPanel installations
  3. Planned and initiated marketing plans for two clients
  4. Wrote/Update my first journalism piece for a client (which, upon approval might be the first journalism piece I've ever written for a major publication)
  5. Designed and updated three product pages with multiple services for a client
  6. Set up the ecommerce solution for all of those services to people can order online
  7. Updated a temporary site for a prospect client who is hosting with my company
  8. Updated the design, (including advertising placements), for my content network.
  9. Updated the marketing across my network for all clients, including offers, products and services
  10. Solved a big JSON error that was hindering a client's listings from being discovered by AI services
  11. Put into place the monetization plan for another client, (building that out starts tomorrow).

.... and that (and more crazily enough; consulting, programming, etc.) was all in the past 6 hours, including the 20 minute break I took to get in a mile walk/jog on my lunch.

This has been an insanely productive day, and yet, it feels like I haven't done much.

Is this the new norm in the age of AI?

Or is this just me being used to working 9-12 hours a day and being done in 6?

Quillbot is the best.. Some AI Detectors are RIDICULOUS.

So, the best AI detector out there is Quillbot, and I'm saying that after having tested about a dozen of them, including Grammarly.

As part of my company's marketing platform, I run my own content network, and I write a couple hundred articles a month.

Pre-AI I had a system in place that allowed me to do 1-2 posts a day, sometimes 3, but I've scaled with AI. Specifically, it does the execution and I author, meaning, none of my articles are AI generated; just AI-composed from my work.

I do it that way because preserving the originality, my voice, my cadence, my style, and so on is important. Anyone can have AI generate content, but no AI can be me, with my eye, my instincts, my personality...

Recently, I've started the journey of writing content for clients, so I've been feeding my original content into AI detectors. I know the warning is that they are unreliable, but some of the are RIDICULOUS.

Personal opinion, Grammarly is the worst one. Even 100% human written content was scored to be 80% plus AI generated.

Some did better than others.

One said that an article that was 100% human written was 85% human/15% AI.

But the best one so far has been Quillbot. On a few of the articles I submitted, nothing rose above 6% likelihood of AI, and many were correctly 100% human.

And the ones that were a very low percentage, were because of list formatting that were "predictable structure" or because I spoke formally in some places.

It's still not perfect, but also, it's recognizing that I don't write AI slop.

There's a lot that goes into what I write including:
- the voice (who is speaking)
- the audience (who I'm speaking to)
- reader purpose/intent (what are they reading)
- reader goal (what are they hoping to accomplish)
- write goal (does the article leave the reader in a better place for having read it)

And so much more.

I'd be annoyed, since so many people use detectors now, if my hard work was passed off as ai-generated garbage.

The Architecture of my Tier IV Governed Cognitive Intelligence

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the Architecture of my Tier IV Governed Cognitive Intelligence Framework...

So, I've had a hard time explaining to people how my AI Framework actually works. Seriously, almost two years (23 months) of cognitive intelligence focus and I explaining it takes FOREVER.

Trying to explain things like semantics, pragmatics, temporal state, etc. on top of trying to explain both the way and philosophy of my framework?

I should have just created an infographic from the beginning. lol

Anyway, anyone who's interested in taking it for a spin and finding out what it's capable of, just ask.

(I'll have docs and papers available).

Happy with the way things are going...

My agent is agenting lol

I'll be honest. Now that I have my agent well-trained and governed so it can do the coding work, I don't miss the manual coding at all. I'm happy to architect, monitor, direct and orchestrate.

It took me 18 months of manual coding to get my AI Framework to v1.0 so I can deploy and ship to production.

Now that I have paying clients, I need the coding to be done faster. Before this year, I would have withdrawn for a month or two and just banged out the equivalent of a year's worth of code.

Now I get to focus on the parts I actually like - the brain work.

And with my AI Framework, I'm beginning to realize that my work in AI cognition is what I want to specialize in.

Technically A New Startup - Live Minder Connect

PS: If you ask me where "Live Minder" came from, I'll probably tell you. lol.

Anyway, this an old service that I've been quietly using and I just updated it for a public launch. Technically it's a new startup but it's more like a relaunch. let me know what you think (genuinely).

---
It's official, Live Minder Connect is open for business!

It's been live for a while, but I've never promoted it because I was never truly happy with the value it offered. It was good, but not good enough.

Now it is!

If you have a business you're promoting, Live Minder Connect offers AI and SEO optimized business profiles designed to rank in search engines and be recommended by AI, not just discovered.

This is supported with featured content specifically about your business, along with targeted content built around AI and search signals designed to attract organic traffic from people actively searching for the types of products, services, and information related to your industry.

You can promote:
* Your business
* Your products and services
* Your offers

And you can even place display ads inside the membership area.

On top of that, LMC actually promotes your main website, not just a profile page like most directories.

Understand that this isn't just a business directory - it's a full blown marketing service, and honestly, it's been one of the secret weapons behind how I've promoted existing clients for years.

I've always included it quietly as a bonus for some paying clients, but now it's available to everyone who needs marketing without having to spend thousands of dollars to get the benefits.

Because this is technically a new launch, I am offering $100 off annual subscriptions to Live Minder Connect for a limited time. Regular pricing is $49.95/month, but annual subscribers can currently save $100 off the normal yearly price.

Click the link below to create your AI and SEO-optimized business profile today.

Beating AI Detectors Without Dumbing Down Your Writing

Have you ever carefully written an article or long-form post only for somebody to run it through an AI detector and say, “This was written by AI”?

Frustrating, right?

This is how I beat AI detectors...

Over the last several months, a lot of my fellow programmers, engineers, etc. have been talking about token use like it's a badge of honor. I even have one client who thinks it's a game to see who can use the most tokens.

Can we please stop with all that?

Don't let the industry fool you into wearing out your card on token burn. "This isn't keep up with the Joneses the AI remix". There is no pat on the back worth going broke because you spend bigger than everyone else.

Be smart with your money please.

It's not about how many tokens you use, but how much productivity you get from the tokens you use.

If you're using an agent or agents, most of your spend will come from the thought cycles and the iterations.

A lot of us will give agents an idea and we'll go back and forth solidifying the idea, and then the scope changes slightly, or we remember something we forgot, and we keep the turns and the cycles going.

Sure, it's productive, but when that bill hits? Ouch!

See, as time goes by, the better and more accurate you should be at prompting, which means the less "figuring out" the agent has to do, which means the less you spend, and the more you produce.

Here's what I do.

I do all of the heavy brain work in browser first. All of the idea refinement, all of the planning, the scoping, the brain-dumping and brainstorming in the browser.

Then, when I have it, I'll have a prompt generated to hand off to the agent - no wasted turns, no wasteful token burn.

If any of you are in that boat where your spend is high and you'd like to bring it down? That's my personal strategy.

I ran up almost 250 million tokens last month, but my spend? Barely $200 bucks.

And the amount I got done? Insane.

I wrote about my strategy in detail here, but it's not required reading. I already gave the "meat of it" in this post.
