I need a reason to renew

A year ago I was all-in on Junie and bought the super AI Pack. I was living in intellij and webstorm and even bought the all products pack because it was more cost effective with my loyalty discount.

Then Claude Code came and disrupted everything. I spend my day in iterm. I will occasionally open a file in intellij, but am getting more and more disconnected. My extra jetbrains ai subscription expired last week. I hadn't used any of my quota for months. I don't even diff in a jetbrains product, just in the github web interface. I installed the claude code plugin and it just puts the intellij wrapper around the claude code terminal. Seems like a waste of memory for the most part. Is anyone else running multiple terminal agents within the jetbrains terminal, utilizing worktrees to have multiple streams going and loving it?

I have loved intellij for years, and want to continue, but I need a reason to re-up. What am I missing? Anyone have a great reason for me to leave the terminal and go back to jetbrains?

EDIT: Looks like I asked this too late. Just checked and I auto-renewed in June, so I guess we'll see if they make something that draws me in before next June!

Custom GSPro control box

Spent the whole week running through almost 2 rolls of filament to print this and a few hours today getting it wired and programmed. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Claude did almost all of the design work under my direction and I did the shopping, printing, and assembly.

All in about $140, so not really much savings over an Etsy buy, but this is 1/1.

GenX lock chime win

Updated my lock chime yesterday. First reaction I saw made it all worth it.

It's the guard in Monty Python and the Holy Grail saying, "Right! We'll stay here until you get back". (The scene in Sir Lancelot's line with the singing prince and huge tracks of land)

As I'm walking away from the car for the first time right after updating it, a woman I've never met is coming out of my office building. It yells "Right! We'll stay here until you get back." and I immediately apologize because I made it as loud as possible. She just chuckled, said it was awesome, and kept walking.

Win!

jetbrains context more info please

Saw the context announcement this morning, seems like it could be pretty interesting. A couple questions please.

* Is the index created from the repo or from local filesystem?
* Is there a way to configure the index to ignore certain repos/paths/files before it is created?

GSPro control box button mapping suggestions

Hi Simmers! I looked at various GSPro control boxes and decided it would be way more fun and probably infuriating to build one myself. I have 5 BIG buttons, and 10 small arcade-sized buttons. It looks like most come with just arcade buttons. I want to map the 5 big buttons (about as big in diameter as the head of a wedge) to the most used functions.

Which keyboard shortcuts do you use most often in GSPro?

GSPro stingy on hole out?

Last night I hit a little chip, going right at the flag. Pace looked like it might roll past the flag 2-3 feet if it misses. It hits the pin and bounces left and seems to accelerate greatly to the point that it almost went out of the gimme putting circle. This has happened to me 3 times in the past 2 weeks.

Do others see GSPro being stingy on allowing a hole out to happen or is it just me and a case of wishful thinking?

Vtrack attack angle

Thoughts from vtrack owners on angle of attack? I struggle with hitting down on the ball with my driver but even when it feels really good and the ball flies like I hit up on it, it still always reports negative angle of attack. Anyone else seeing that?

Finally have my setup far enough to play my first 18 today. Needs finishing touches like cable management, pads, tighten screen and tape hitting mats down, but after a lot of building I needed to do a little playing. The vaulted ceiling really added a degree of difficulty.
