Thinking about commuting to work daily (when it's sunny only) from 88 ave & king george to No. 6 Rd Richmond. Do you think it's a good or bad idea? 90% of the road looks to be dedicated bike lane, with a couple small sections (200-300m) where I would just ride on a sidewalk instead of the road. I haven't ridden a bike for at least 15 years, so trying to figure out if it's worth it to start or the chance of getting wiped out by a car is too high?

I’m in Surrey and just inherited an old seed collection from a grower that was active from 80s through late 2000s. Some are 1998 labeled "Thor", "NL#2", and "Ryerson".

I know the industry is struggling with viruses and quality right now, so I’m wondering — is this old school gear still worth saving? Should I reach out to local growers, or is it not worth the hassle?

Just curious if anyone even remembers these strains.
