When Raymund Marasigan and Daren Lim were still active with their podcast, The Offstage Hang, one of the first questions Rayms would always ask their guests, mostly fellow musicians, was: “Who were you listening to growing up?” More often than not, the answer was, of course, “You” or Eraserheads.

Aside from Eraserheads, who do you think are the other “musicians’ favorite musicians” in OPM? And among the younger generation, are there artists today who are already becoming fellow musicians’ favorites or are looked up to by their peers as well?

Some artists make music as pure expression, focused on creativity, experimentation, and pushing boundaries. Others lean more toward crafting songs that are catchy, accessible, and built for mass appeal.
