Hi everyone

I’m trying to find out more about Helen Martins, the artist and owner of the Owl House in Nieu Bethesda. I went there as a young girl with my family and remember a very dark and strange energy in and around the house. I’d love to go back and revisit as an adult.

Does anyone have more info about the house, the art and Helen herself? I know she painted with glass, Koos Malgas helped with her sculptures and that she (apparently) didn’t have a good relationship with her dad.

So, basically, what was your experience and do you have any info about the Owl House in general?

I’m looking for a venue to hire for 16-20 people in the east of Pretoria. Something similar to Blumin Pizza in Lynnwood. It has to be open on a Sunday.
