I really love the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya anime (+ spinoffs), and I recently made the jump from anime to manga and light novels. I was wondering if getting the haruhi light novels are worth it? or am I not missing out on much?

edit: a large reason why I was asking this is because all the LN’s added together can be pricey
