Vocab deck ideas for remainder of special needs lessons

Hey all! I have to solo teach special needs classes once a week. Two different classes alternating every other week. So I figure with 3rd and 4th grade getting 35 hours of class I'd be safe preparing for about 18 classes.

All they can handle is vocab and vocab games (digital and physical) so that's what we have been doing.

So far we've done: colors, fruits, vegetables and will be doing some animals next (personal reminder to print my animal cards). What others should I be putting together for them for the other 14 lessons? I know I can probably do some mixed days where I mix colors, fruits and vegetables or something. But just want to make sure I've got them all down.

I know I can look these up and I will. Just want to mix truths from different sources. Thanks!

Researching dispatch companies for next year

Without going into detail about where you're posted, can you let me know which dispatch you're working for and how many schools/classes you work per week, what percentage are you the T1, and how often does your coordinator visit your schools.

I'm at 5 elementary schools, right now doing 28 classes per week. I am the T1 for 18 of my 28 classes so about 64% of the time.

Looking for a more ALT experience with more sense of belonging. Just want to see which companies have more of that. Thanks!

Edit: As posting your company in a public space like this could result in unneeded pettiness by head office folks in this community. Please message me in private if you want!

Coordinator Observations

Anyone else have their coordinator in their class up to 3 times per week for multiple classes per visit?

It makes me uncomfortable not because they are there, but because it doesn't amount to anything. There's no feedback. I'm the type of person that loves to hear what I did wrong or could do better.

But there is nothing. And it is always a sure thing that they will show up when I have an non-ordinary class (adult class, preschool, special needs, or when I have to teach a class that is usually another ALT's class).

At least they always tell ahead of time that they are coming. But it just feels... Excessive. And also if I need to be babysat because the class is "non-ordinary" perhaps an ALT shouldn't be tasked with teaching them.
